Abstract

The invention relates to a method and device for obtaining a determined flow resistance of a flow channel, especially an opening in a component. The method involves the following steps: a liquid flows through the flow channel; a characteristic depending on the flow resistance of the flow channel in the component is determined; and the flow channel is machined by means of a working method until said characteristic reaches a pre-determined nominal value.

Claims (6)

1. A device to machine a flow channel of a component and to achieve a determined flow resistance of a flow channel in said component, comprising a closed loop fluid system, a device for the generation of a fluid current within the fluid system, a fluid reservoir means for providing fluid to machine said flow channel, and a measuring bridge, wherein said component is a part of the measuring bridge for the determination of a parameter which is a function of the flow resistance of the flow channel in the component.

The device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the measuring bridge is constructed according to the principle of a Wheatstone bridge, whereby the flow channel is connected by means of a first line with a first impedance to form a first series circuit and a second impedance is connected by means of a second line with a third impedance to form a second series circuit; and

whereby the first and the second series circuits are connected to form a parallel circuit; and

whereby a pressure sensor is provided on the first line and on the second line or between the first line and the second line a third line is provided with a flow rate sensor.

3. The device as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the flow channel in the measuring bridge is located behind the first impedance in the direction of flow of the fluid.

4. The device as claimed in claim 2 , wherein at least the lines are fabricated from a plastic material.
