Boron-containing small molecules
This invention provides, among other things, novel oxaboroles which are monosubstituted at the 3-, 6-, or 7-position, or disubstituted at the 3-/6- or 3-/7- positions, which are useful for treating bacterial infections, pharmaceutical compositions containing such oxaboroles, as well as combinations of these oxaboroles with at least one additional therapeutically effective agent.

8. A composition comprising a hydrochloride salt of
wherein the composition is substantially free of the (R) enantiomer of the compound.
9. A combination comprising a hydrochloride salt of:
together with at least one other therapeutically active agent.
10. The pharmaceutical formulation of claim 5 , wherein the pharmaceutically acceptable salt of said a)
