Chlamydomonas intraflagellar transport 88 (IFT-88)
View Patent ↗The invention relates to various intraflagellar transport (IFT) polypeptides and the nucleic acids that encode them. The new IFT particle polypeptides and nucleic acids can be used in a variety, of diagnostic, screening, and therapeutic methods.
1. An isolated nucleic acid molecule comprising a nucleotide sequence that encodes a Chlamydomonas intraflagellar transport (IFT) particle protein 88 that is at least 95% identical to SEQ ID NO:16, or the full-length complement thereof.
2. The isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 1 , comprising a sequence at least 95% identical to nucleotides 108-2456 of SEQ ID NO:15, or the full-length complement thereof.
3. The isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 1 , consisting essentially of a sequence at least 95% identical to nucleotides 108-2456 of SEQ ID NO:15, or the full-length complement thereof.
4. The isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 1 , consisting essentially of a sequence at least 95% identical to SEQ ID NO:15, or the full-length complement thereof
5. The isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 1 , further comprising a nucleic acid sequence encoding a heterologous polypeptide.
6. A vector comprising the nucleic acid molecule of claim 1 .
7. An isolated host cell comprising the nucleic acid molecule of claim 1 .
8. The isolated host cell of claim 7 , wherein the host cell is a non-human mammalian host cell.
9. The isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 2 , further comprising a nucleic acid sequence encoding a heterologous polypeptide.
10. A vector comprising the nucleic acid molecule of claim 2 .
11. An isolated host cell comprising the nucleic acid molecule of claim 2 .
12. The isolated host cell of claim 11 , wherein the host cell is a non-human mammalian host cell.
13. A vector comprising the nucleic acid molecule of claim 3 .
14. An isolated host cell comprising the nucleic acid molecule of claim 3 .
15. The isolated host cell of claim 14 , wherein the host cell is a non-human mammalian host cell.
16. A vector comprising the nucleic acid molecule of claim 4 .
17. An isolated host cell comprising the nucleic acid molecule of claim 4 .
18. The isolated host cell of claim 17 , wherein the host cell is a non-human mammalian host cell.
