Claims (8)

- 13 . (canceled)

. A kit for repressing or preventing metastasis or invasiveness of a neoplastic cell in a mammal, the kit comprising a therapeutically effective amount of an anti-PECAM binding species and instructions for systemic administration of said anti-PECAM binding species to said mammal.

. The kit of claim 14 , wherein the anti-PECAM binding species is a monoclonal antibody.

. The kit of claim 15 , wherein the instructions specify administration of a plurality of doses wherein each dose comprises at least 200 micrograms of said monoclonal antibody.

. The kit of claim 16 , wherein the instructions specify that said monoclonal antibody is administered in at least five doses with each dose separated by at least two days from other doses in the plurality.

. The kit of claim 15 , wherein the instructions specify that the monoclonal antibody may be combined with other anti-neoplastic therapies.

. The kit of claim 18 , wherein the other anti-neoplastic therapies comprise: ionizing radiation, chemotherapeutic agents, thermal abalation, anti-tumor monoclonal antibodies that do not bind to PECAM, implantation of radioisotopes seeds, and surgery.

. The use of an anti-PECAM monoclonal antibody to repress or prevent metastasis of a neoplastic cell in a mammal wherein said mammal has had neoplastic cells in its body for at least seven days prior to administration of said anti-PECAM monoclonal antibody.
