Abstract

The present invention relates to an antibody which has multiple specificities. In particular the antibody of the present invention binds to (cross react with) human IL-8, Gro-alpha, Gro-beta, Gro-gamma, and ENA-78.

Claims (8)

1. An isolated recombinant eukaryotic or prokaryotic cell which produces an antibody comprising heavy and light chain variable regions which comprise the CDR amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 13, 14, and 15; and SEQ ID NOs: 16, 17, and 18, respectively.

2. An isolated antibody comprising heavy and light chain variable regions which comprise the CDR amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 13, 14, and 15; and SEQ ID NOs: 16, 17, and 18, respectively.

3. A pharmaceutical composition comprising an antibody of claim 2 and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.

4. An isolated antibody of claim 2 comprising heavy and light chains encoded by nucleotide sequences comprising sequences of SEQ ID NO: 11 and SEQ ID NO: 61, respectively.

5. An isolated antibody of claim 2 comprising heavy and light chains comprising the amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NO:46, and SEQ ID NO: 60, 62, or 64, respectively.

6. An antibody of claim 2 which is humanized.

7. An isolated antibody comprising heavy and light chains comprising amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NO:46 and SEQ ID NO: 62, respectively.

8. An isolated recombinant eukaryotic or prokaryotic host cell which produces an antibody having heavy or light chain comprising amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 46 and SEQ ID NO: 62, respectively.
