Game of chance systems and methods
In various embodiments, players may compete in a gaming context.
1. An apparatus comprising:
a plurality of surface computing platforms;
a processor; and
a machine readable medium having stored thereon a plurality of instructions that when executed cased the apparatus to perform a method comprising:
causing a first surface computing platform of the plurality of computing platforms to display a first roulette spin;
causing a second surface computing platform of the plurality of computing platforms to display a second roulette spin;
receiving a first wager on the first roulette spin from a first mobile gaming device of plurality of mobile gaming devices;
determining an outcome of the first wager based on an outcome of the first roulette spin;
receiving a second wager that a pattern of outcomes of roulette spins will occur from a second mobile gaming device of the plurality of mobile gaming devices;
determining an outcome of the second wager based on an outcome of the first roulette spin and the second roulette spin;
receiving a third wager on an aggregate of outcomes from a plurality of roulette spins over a period from a third mobile gaming device of the plurality of mobile gaming devices; and
determining an outcome of the third wager based on an outcome of the first roulette spin and the second roulette spin.
2. The apparatus of claim 1 , in which each of the surface computing platforms includes a respective Microsoft surface.
3. The apparatus of claim 1 , in which each of the mobile gaming devices includes a respective handheld portable gaming device having a touch screen interface and wireless communication abilities.
4. The apparatus of claim 1 , in which the pattern includes at least one of a pattern of colors and a pattern of numbers.
5. The apparatus of claim 1 , in which the aggregate includes a count of red outcomes compared to a count of black outcomes over the period.
6. The apparatus of claim 1 , in which the period includes at least one of a time period and a number of spins.
7. The apparatus of claim 1 , in which the aggregate includes a statistic regarding results of the plurality of spins.
8. The apparatus of claim 1 , in which the method further comprises presenting an indication of the outcome of the first roulette spin and the outcome of the second roulette spin on a display screen.
9. The apparatus of claim 1 , in which the first roulette spin and the second roulette spin are initiated not in response to a player.
10. The apparatus of claim 1 , in which the first roulette spin includes a recreation of a roulette spin from a table.
11. The apparatus of claim 10 , in which the roulette spin from the table includes a live roulette spin from the table.
12. The apparatus of claim 10 , in which the roulette spin from the table includes a historic roulette spin from the table.
13. The apparatus of claim 10 , in which the recreation includes a video feed.
14. An apparatus comprising:
a plurality of surface computing platforms;
a processor; and
a machine readable medium having stored thereon a plurality of instructions that when executed cased the apparatus to perform a method comprising:
receiving a wager on an aggregate of outcomes from a plurality of roulette spins over a period from a mobile gaming device of a plurality of mobile gaming devices;
causing a first surface computing platform of the plurality of computing platforms to display a first roulette spin;
causing a second surface computing platform of the plurality of computing platforms to display a second roulette spin; and
determining an outcome of the wager based on an outcome of the first roulette spin and the second roulette spin.
15. The apparatus of claim 14 , in which each of the surface computing platforms includes a respective Microsoft surface.
16. The apparatus of claim 14 , in which each of the mobile gaming devices includes a respective handheld portable gaming device having a touch screen interface and wireless communication abilities.
17. The apparatus of claim 14 , in which the aggregate includes a count of red outcomes compared to a count of black outcomes over the period.
18. The apparatus of claim 14 , in which the period includes at least one of a time period and a number of spins.
19. The apparatus of claim 14 , in which the aggregate includes a statistic regarding results of the plurality of spins.
20. The apparatus of claim 14 , in which the method further comprises presenting an indication of the outcome of the first roulette spin and the outcome of the second roulette spin on a display screen.
21. The apparatus of claim 14 , in which the first roulette spin and the second roulette spin are initiated not in response to a player.
22. The apparatus of claim 14 , in which the first roulette spin includes a recreation of a roulette spin from a table.
23. The apparatus of claim 22 , in which the roulette spin from the table includes a live roulette spin from the table.
24. The apparatus of claim 22 , in which the roulette spin from the table includes a historic roulette spin from the table.
25. The apparatus of claim 22 , in which the recreation includes a video feed.
