Abstract

An image pickup lens, comprises sequentially from an object side: an aperture stop, a first lens being a positive meniscus lens which has a convex surface at the object side and a concave surface at an image side opposite to the object side, and a second lens having a concave surface at the object side and an image side surface whose radius of curvature on an paraxial region is infinite or a negative value, wherein the first lens is the second lens and the image side surface of the second lens includes an aspheric surface to make a positive power strong toward a lens peripheral region, and wherein the image pickup lens is made to satisfy the following conditional formulas: 1.55<n1<1.80  (1) 0.4< D 3/ f <0.6  (2) 40.0<ν2<90.0  (3).

Claims (92)

1. An image pickup lens, comprising sequentially from an object side:

an aperture stop,

a first lens, and

a second lens,

wherein the first lens is a positive meniscus lens which has a convex surface at the object side and a concave surface at an image side opposite to the object side, the second lens has a concave surface at the object side and an image side surface whose radius of curvature on an paraxial region is infinite or a negative value, and the image side surface of the second lens includes an aspheric surface to make a positive power strong toward a lens peripheral region, and

wherein the image pickup lens is made to satisfy the following conditional formulas:

1.55<n1<1.80  (1)

0.4 <D 3 /f< 0.6  (2)

40.0<ν2<90.0  (3)

where n1 represents a refractive index of the first lens ford spectral line, D3 represents a thickness (mm) of the second lens on an optical axis, f represents a focal distance (mm) of an entire system of the image pickup lens, and ν2 represents of an Abbe's number of the second lens.

2. The image pickup lens described in claim 1 , wherein the second lens satisfies the following conditional formula (4):

1.55<n2<1.80  (4)

where n2 represents a refractive index of the second lens ford spectral line.

3. The image pickup lens described in claim 1 , wherein the second lens satisfies the following conditional formula (5):

f 2 /f<− 3.0  (5)

where f2 represents a focal distance (mm) of the second lens.

4. The image pickup lens described in claim 1 , wherein the second lens satisfies the following conditional formula (6):

−0.6 <f/r 3<−0.1  (6)

where r3 represents a radius (mm) of curvature of the object side surface of the second lens.

5. The image pickup lens described in claim 1 , wherein the second lens satisfies the following conditional formula (7):

−0.5 <f/r 4<0.0  (7)

where r4 represents a radius (mm) of curvature of the image side surface of the second lens.

6. The image pickup lens described in claim 1 , wherein the first lens satisfies the following conditional formula (8):

0.8 <f 1/ f< 1.0  (8)

where f1 represents a focal distance (mm) of the first lens.

7. The image pickup lens described in claim 1 , wherein the first lens satisfies the following conditional formula (9):

3.0<( r 2 +r 1)/( r 2 −r 1)<4.0  (9)

where r1 represents a radius (mm) of curvature of the object side surface of the first lens, and r2 represents a radius (mm) of curvature of the image side surface of the first lens.

8. The image pickup lens described in claim 1 , wherein the first lens and the second lens satisfy the following conditional formula (10):

0.1 <|f 1/ f 2|<0.3  (10)

where f1 represents a focal distance (mm) of the first lens and f2 represents a focal distance (mm) of the second lens.

9. The image pickup lens described in claim 1 , wherein an air lens between the first lens and the second lens satisfies the following conditional formula (11):

0.7≦| fa/f|< 0.8  (11)

where fa represents the focal distance (mm) of the air lens between the first lens and the second lens and is obtained by the following formula:

fa=r 2· r 3/{ r 3·(1− n 1)+ r 2·( n 2−1)− D 2·(1− n 1)·( n 2−1)}

where r2 represents a radius (mm) of curvature of the image side surface of the first lens, r3 represents a radius (mm) of curvature of the object side surface of the second lens, n1 represents a refractive index of the first lens ford spectral line, n2 represents a refractive index of the second lens for d spectral line, and D2 represents a distance (mm) between the first lens and the second lens on an optical axis.

10. The image pickup lens described in claim 1 , wherein the first lens and the second lens are made of a material having a heat resistance property.

11. The image pickup lens described in claim 1 , wherein at least one of the first lens and the second lens is made of glass.

12. The image pickup lens described in claim 1 , wherein at least one of the first lens and the second lens is made of energy curable type resin.

13. The image pickup lens described in claim 12 , wherein inorganic particles with a size of 30 nanometers or less are dispersed in the resin.

14. The image pickup lens described in claim 1 , wherein the image side surface of the second lens has a lens surface configuration whose inclination has the same sign in a region within an effective radius except a center of the image side surface.

15. An image pickup lens, comprising sequentially from an object side:

an aperture stop,

a first lens, and

a second lens,

wherein the first lens is a positive meniscus lens which has a convex surface at the object side and a concave surface at an image side opposite to the object side, the second lens is a negative meniscus lens which has a concave surface at the object side and a convex surface at the image side, and the image side surface of the second lens includes an aspheric surface to make a positive power strong toward a lens peripheral region, and

wherein the image pickup lens is made to satisfy the following conditional formulas:

1.55<n1<1.80  (1)

0.4 <D 3 /f< 0.6  (2)

40.0<ν2<90.0  (3)

where n1 represents a refractive index of the first lens ford spectral line, D3 represents a thickness (mm) of the second lens on an optical axis, f represents a focal distance (mm) of an entire system of the image pickup lens, and ν2 represents of an Abbe's number of the second lens.

16. The image pickup lens described in claim 15 , wherein the second lens satisfies the following conditional formula (4):

1.55<n2<1.80  (4)

where n2 represents a refractive index of the second lens ford spectral line.

17. The image pickup lens described in claim 15 , wherein the second lens satisfies the following conditional formula (5):

f 2 /f<− 3.0  (5)

where f2 represents a focal distance (mm) of the second lens.

18. The image pickup lens described in claim 15 , wherein the second lens satisfies the following conditional formula (6):

−0.6 <f/r 3<−0.1  (6)

where r3 represents a radius (mm) of curvature of the object side surface of the second lens.

19. The image pickup lens described in claim 15 , wherein the second lens satisfies the following conditional formula (7):

−0.5 <f/r 4<0.0  (7)

where r4 represents a radius (mm) of curvature of the image side surface of the second lens.

20. The image pickup lens described in claim 15 , wherein the first lens satisfies the following conditional formula (8):

0.8< f 1/ f< 1.0  (8)

where f1 represents a focal distance (mm) of the first lens.

21. The image pickup lens described in claim 15 , wherein the first lens satisfies the following conditional formula (9):

3.0<( r 2 +r 1)/( r 2 −r 1)<4.0  (9)

where r1 represents a radius (mm) of curvature of the object side surface of the first lens, and r2 represents a radius (mm) of curvature of the image side surface of the first lens.

22. The image pickup lens described in claim 15 , wherein the first lens and the second lens satisfy the following conditional formula (10):

0.1 <|f 1/ f 2|<0.3  (10)

where f1 represents a focal distance (mm) of the first lens and f2 represents a focal distance (mm) of the second lens.

23. The image pickup lens described in claim 15 , wherein an air lens between the first lens and the second lens satisfies the following conditional formula (11):

0.7 ≦|fa/f|< 0.8  (11)

where fa represents the focal distance (mm) of the air lens between the first lens and the second lens and is obtained by the following formula:

fa=r 2· r 3/{ r 3·(1− n 1)+ r 2·( n 2−1)− D 2·(1− n 1)·( n 2−1)}

where r2 represents a radius (mm) of curvature of the image side surface of the first lens, r3 represents a radius (mm) of curvature of the object side surface of the second lens, n1 represents a refractive index of the first lens ford spectral line, n2 represents a refractive index of the second lens for d spectral line, and D2 represents a distance (mm) between the first lens and the second lens on an optical axis.

24. The image pickup lens described in claim 15 , wherein the first lens and the second lens are made of a material having a heat resistance property.

25. The image pickup lens described in claim 15 , wherein at least one of the first lens and the second lens is made of glass.

26. The image pickup lens described in claim 15 , wherein at least one of the first lens and the second lens is made of energy curable type resin.

27. The image pickup lens described in claim 26 , wherein inorganic particles with a size of 30 nanometers or less are dispersed in the resin.

28. The image pickup lens described in claim 15 , wherein the image side surface of the second lens has a lens surface configuration whose inclination has the same sign in a region within an effective radius except a center of the image side surface.

29. A method of producing the image pickup lens described in claim 1 , comprising:

a process of forming a first lens block on which a plurality of the first lenses are formed and a second lens block on which a plurality of the second lenses are formed;

a process of making the first lens block and the second lens block into a single body by bonding a periphery of an optical surface of each of the plurality of the first lenses with a periphery of an optical surface of each of the plurality of the second lenses on the condition that each of the plurality of the first lenses faces one of the plurality of the second lenses; and

a process of cutting the first lens block and the second lens block made in the single body for each pair of the first lens and the second lens.

30. An image pickup device, comprising:

the image pickup lens described in claim 1 , and

a image pickup sensor.

31. A mobile terminal device, comprising:

the image pickup device described in claim 30 , and

a communicating section.
