Abstract

A method for adjusting a granularity of resource allocation in a wireless mobile communication system supporting a compact scheduling is discussed. A resource indication value (RIV) corresponds to a start index (S) of one set of consecutive virtual resource blocks (VRBs) and a length of the VRBs. The start index (S) is selected from among ‘s’ values (where s−P+mT<N RB ), and the length (L) is selected from among ‘l’ values (where l=K+nG≦N RB ). Here, P is a predetermined integer of 0 or higher, T or G is a predetermined natural number, m is an integer of 0 or higher, and n is a natural number.

Claims (32)

1. A method for receiving consecutive virtual resource blocks, VRBs, using a resource indication value (RIV) indicating a start index (S) of consecutive VRBs and a length (L) of the consecutive VRBs in a wireless mobile communication system supporting a compact scheduling for a codeword, the method comprising:

receiving, by a wireless apparatus, downlink control information including resource block allocation information;

detecting, by the wireless apparatus, the RIV from the resource block allocation information when a downlink control information format of the received downlink control information is used for the compact scheduling; and

receiving, by the wireless apparatus, the VRBs in accordance with the RIV,

wherein the start index (S) is any one of elements of a first set {s: s=P+mT<N RB }, where P is a predetermined integer of 0 or higher, T is a predetermined natural number, m is an integer of 0 or higher, and N RB is the number of resource blocks (RBs) available in the wireless mobile communication system, and

wherein the length (L) is any one of elements of a second set {l: l=K+nG>N RB }, where K is a predetermined integer of 0 or higher, G is a predetermined natural number of 2 or more, and n is a natural number.

2. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the T value is equal to the G value.

3. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the P value is zero and the K value is zero.

4. The method according to claim 2 , wherein the P value is zero and the K value is zero.

5. The method according to claim 4 , wherein the N RB value is denoted by N RB =└N VRB /G┘·G, where N VRB is the number of VRBs available in the wireless mobile communication system.

6. The method according to claim 5 , wherein the l value is equal to or less than a predetermined value L limit , where L limit is equal to or higher than K and is lower than the N RB value.

7. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the l value is equal to or less than a predetermined value L limit , where L limit is equal to or higher than K and is lower than the N RB value.

8. The method according to claim 2 , wherein the l value is equal to or less than a predetermined value L limit , where L limit is equal to or higher than K and is lower than the N RB value.

9. The method according to claim 3 , wherein the l value is equal to or less than a predetermined value L limit , where L limit is equal to or higher than K and is lower than the N RB value.

10. The method according to claim 4 , wherein the l value is equal to or less than a predetermined value L limit , where L limit is equal to or higher than K and is lower than the N RB value.

11. A wireless apparatus used for receiving consecutive virtual resource blocks (VRBs) using a resource indication value (RIV) indicating a start index (S) of consecutive VRBs and a length (L) of the consecutive VRBs in a wireless mobile communication system supporting a compact scheduling for a codeword, the apparatus comprising:

a radio frequency unit; and
