Abstract

The disclosed light emitting device comprises at least one first light emitting element including at least one light emitting chip for emitting light having a wavelength of 400 to 500 nm and a phosphor; and at least one second light emitting element disposed adjacent to the first light emitting element to emit light having a wavelength of 560 to 880 nm.

Claims (24)

1. A light emitting device, comprising:

a first light emitting element comprising a light emitting chip and a phosphor and configured to emit light having a first wavelength; and

a second light emitting element disposed adjacent to the first light emitting element, the second light emitting element configured to emit light having a second wavelength,

wherein the phosphor is disposed on an upper portion of the light emitting chip, and the phosphor comprises a yellow phosphor, and

wherein the second light emitting element is connected in series or parallel with the first light emitting element.

2. The light emitting device of claim 1 , wherein the first light emitting element comprises a plurality of light emitting cells connected in series with each other.

3. The light emitting device of claim 1 , wherein the first light emitting element further comprises a first molding member to cover the first light emitting element, and

the phosphor is disposed in the first molding member.

4. The light emitting device of claim 3 , wherein the second light emitting element is disposed outside of the first molding member.

5. The light emitting device of claim 4 , further comprising a second molding member covering the first molding member and the second light emitting element.

6. The light emitting device of claim 1 , further comprising a current stabilizing circuit, and the current stabilizing circuit being connected in series with the first light emitting element.

7. The light emitting device of claim 1 , wherein the second light emitting element is disposed between two first light emitting elements.

8. The light emitting device of claim 1 , wherein the light emitting chip comprises a plurality of light emitting cells, each light emitting cell being disposed on a substrate and comprising a lower semiconductor layer, an active layer, and an upper semiconductor layer, and the light emitting cells are connected in series with each other through wires.

9. The light emitting device of claim 1 , wherein the light emitting chip comprises a plurality of light emitting cells, each light emitting cell being disposed on a submount and comprising a lower semiconductor layer, an active layer, and an upper semiconductor layer.

10. The light emitting device of claim 5 , wherein the second molding member does not contain any phosphor.

11. The light emitting device of claim 10 , wherein the second molding member is domed shape.

12. The light emitting device claim 1 , wherein the first wavelength is in a range from 400 nm to 500 nm.

13. The light emitting device claim 1 , wherein the second wavelength is in a range from 560 nm to 880 nm.

14. The light emitting device claim 3 , further comprising a third light emitting element,

wherein the third light emitting element is configured to emit light having the second wavelength, and

wherein the first molding member covers the third light emitting element.

15. The light emitting device claim 14 , wherein the second wavelength is in a range from 560 nm to 880 nm.

16. The light emitting device claim 8 , wherein at least one of the plurality of light emitting cells emits light having a wavelength in a range from 560 nm to 880 nm.

17. The light emitting device claim 9 , wherein at least one of the plurality of light emitting cells emits light having a wavelength in a range from 560 nm to 880 nm.
