Claims (13)

1. A compound selected from compounds of a formula

wherein X is selected from fluoro, hydroxy and methoxy groups, said compound in a conformation for intramolecular hydrogen-bonding; and salts thereof.

2. The compound of claim 1 wherein X is selected from fluoro and methoxy groups.

3. The compound of claim 1 wherein said compound is an ammonium salt, and said salt has a counter ion that is a conjugate base of a protic acid.

4. A compound selected from compounds of a formula

wherein X is selected from hydroxy and methoxy groups; and salts thereof.

5. The compound of claim 4 wherein X is a methoxy group.

6. The compound of claim 4 wherein said compound is an ammonium salt, and said salt has a counter ion that is a conjugate base of a protic acid.

7. A compound selected from compounds of a formula

wherein X is selected from fluoro, hydroxyl and methoxy groups; and salts thereof.

8. The compound of claim 7 wherein X is selected from fluoro and methoxy groups.

9. The compound of claim 7 wherein said compound is an ammonium salt, and said salt has a counter ion that is a conjugate base of a protic acid.

10. The compound of claim 7 comprising a cis diastereomeric configuration.
