METHOD FOR PRODUCING A COVER PLATE FOR A PHOTOVOLTAIC DEVICE
A method for producing a cover plate for a photovoltaic device, which exhibits at least one surface relief texture where air is evacuated from a mold cavity by using a vacuum; the mold containing an inverse image of the surface relief texture and the mold cavity is created by closing the mold: bringing a resin, which is a liquid material at room temperature, by using a pressure into contact with the mold; and hardening the resin, such that the relief texture of the mold is transferred into the hardened resin.
1 . A method for producing a cover plate for a photovoltaic device, which exhibits at least one surface relief texture, the method comprising:
a. evacuating air from a mold cavity by using a vacuum, wherein the mold cavity is created by closing a mold having an inverse image of the surface relief texture;
b. bringing a resin, which is a liquid material at room temperature, by using a pressure into contact with the mold; and
c. hardening said resin, such that the relief texture of the mold is transferred into the hardened resin, forming a textured plate.
2 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the hardening occurs while maintaining a pressure between the resin and the mold.
3 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one surface relief texture is made of structures, wherein each structure has a height of at least 0.5 mm.
4 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the resin is hardened by electromagnetic radiation.
5 . The method according to claim 4 , wherein the electromagnetic radiation is in a wavelength range of 200 nm to 400 nm.
6 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein a resin with a viscosity at room temperature of between 500-3000 Pa-s is used.
7 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the resin is applied to a transparent substrate.
8 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the mold has an inverse structure of pyramids and/or grooves and/or hemispheres and/or cubicals.
9 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the structures have a height of at least 0.75 mm.
10 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the resin contains a mixture of monomer(s) and/or oligomer(s).
11 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the resin contains a photoinitiator and/or at least one additive.
12 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the structures are coated with an additional layer after hardening the textured plate.
13 . A photovoltaic device comprising a textured plate obtained by the method according to claim 1 .
14 . The photovoltaic device according to claim 13 , wherein the textured plate is used as a cover plate.
15 . The photovoltaic device according to claim 13 , wherein the textured plate is used as a second cover plate on top of a first cover plate.
