Abstract

Salts of 4-methyl-N-[3-(4-methyl-imidazol-1-yl)-5-trifluoromethyl-phenyl]-3-(4-pyridin-3-yl-pyrimidin-2-ylamino)-benzamide are prepared by various processes.

Claims (2)

1. A method of treating chronic myelogenous leukemia comprising the step of administering to a subject in need thereof, a therapeutically effective amount of a salt, 4-methyl-N-[3-(4-methyl-imidazol-1-yl)-5-trifluoromethyl-phenyl]-3-(4-pyridin-3-yl-pyrimidin-2-ylamino)-benzeneamide monohydrochloride monohydrate.

2. A method of treating chronic myelogenous leukemia comprising the step of administering to a subject in need thereof, a therapeutically effective amount of a pharmaceutical composition comprising: a therapeutically effective amount of a salt, 4-methyl-N-[3-(4-methyl-imidazol-1-yl)-5-trifluoromethyl-phenyl]-3-(4-pyridin-3-yl-pyrimidin-2-ylamino)-benzeneamide monohydrochloride monohydrate and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, diluent, vehicle or excipient.
