Managed messaging platform with response aggregation

1. A method comprising:

sending a managed message requesting response to attend a meeting or event;

displaying a total number of recipients that have not viewed the managed message;

determining a first category comprising one or more desired recipients for whom the managed message is undeliverable;

determining a second category comprising at least one recipient who has indicated they will attend the meeting or event;

displaying a first list of e-mail addresses of desired recipients for whom the managed message is undeliverable;

displaying a second list of e-mail addresses of recipients that have indicated they will attend the meeting or event;

displaying, in response to a selection of a recipient in the second list, a name of the selected recipient and a date the managed message was viewed by the selected recipient; and

displaying an RSVP by the selected recipient, including any comments.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein displaying, in response to the selection of the recipient in the second list, further comprises:

displaying a time the managed message was sent to the selected recipient; and

displaying a time the managed message was viewed by the selected recipient.

3. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

displaying an aggregate recipient response summary, wherein the aggregate recipient response summary indicates a total number of recipients of the managed message and a total number of recipients that have indicated that they will attend the meeting or event.

4. The method of claim 3 , wherein displaying the aggregate recipient response summary comprises:

displaying a total number of recipients that have viewed the managed message; and

displaying a total number of desired recipients for whom the managed message is undeliverable.

5. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

determining a third category comprising at least one undecided recipient of the managed message that has yet to provide a response regarding attendance of the meeting or event.

6. The method of claim 5 , further comprising:

displaying a third list of e-mail addresses of the at least one undecided recipient.

7. The method of claim 6 , further comprising:

displaying, in response to a selection of an undecided recipient in the third list, a name of the selected undecided recipient and a date the managed message was viewed by the selected undecided recipient.

8. A system comprising:

means for sending a managed message requesting response to attend a meeting or event;

means for displaying a total number of recipients that have not viewed the managed message;

means for determining a first category comprising one or more desired recipients for whom the managed message is undeliverable;

means for determining a second category comprising at least one recipient who has indicated they will attend the meeting or event;

means for displaying a first list of e-mail addresses of desired recipients for whom the managed message is undeliverable;

means for displaying a second list of e-mail addresses of recipients that have indicated they will attend the meeting or event;

means for displaying, in response to a selection of a recipient in the second list, a name of the selected recipient and a date the managed message was viewed by the selected recipient; and

means for displaying an RSVP by the selected recipient, including any comments.

9. The system of claim 8 , wherein the means for displaying, in response to the selection of the recipient in the second list, further comprises:

means for displaying a time the managed message was sent to the selected recipient; and

means for displaying a time the managed message was viewed by the selected recipient.

10. The system of claim 8 , further comprising:

means for displaying an aggregate recipient response summary, wherein the aggregate recipient response summary indicates a total number of recipients of the managed message and a total number of recipients that have indicated that they will attend the meeting or event.

11. The system of claim 10 , wherein the means for displaying the aggregate recipient response summary comprises:

means for displaying a total number of recipients that have viewed the managed message; and

means for displaying a total number of desired recipients for whom the managed message is undeliverable.

12. The system of claim 8 , further comprising:

means for determining a third category comprising at least one undecided recipient of the managed message that has yet to provide a response regarding attendance of the meeting or event.

13. The system of claim 12 , further comprising:

means for displaying a third list of e-mail addresses of the at least one undecided recipient.

14. The system of claim 13 , further comprising:

means for displaying, in response to a selection of an undecided recipient in the third list, a name of the selected undecided recipient and a date the managed message was viewed by the selected undecided recipient.

15. A non-transitory tangible computer readable medium having instructions stored thereon, the instructions comprising:

instructions for sending a managed message requesting response to attend a meeting or event;

instructions for displaying a total number of recipients that have not viewed the managed message;

instructions for determining a first category comprising one or more desired recipients for whom the managed message is undeliverable;

instructions for determining a second category comprising at least one recipient who has indicated they will attend the meeting or event;

instructions for displaying a first list of e-mail addresses of desired recipients for whom the managed message is undeliverable;

instructions for displaying a second list of e-mail addresses of recipients that have indicated they will attend the meeting or event;

instructions for displaying, in response to a selection of a recipient in the second list, a name of the selected recipient and a date the managed message was viewed by the selected recipient; and

instructions for displaying an RSVP by the selected recipient, including any comments.

16. The non-transitory tangible computer readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the instructions for displaying, in response to the selection of the recipient in the second list, further comprise:

instructions for displaying a time the managed message was sent to the selected recipient; and

instructions for displaying a time the managed message was viewed by the selected recipient.

17. The non-transitory tangible computer readable medium of claim 15 , further comprising:

instructions for displaying an aggregate recipient response summary, wherein the aggregate recipient response summary indicates a total number of recipients of the managed message and a total number of recipients that have indicated that they will attend the meeting or event.

18. The non-transitory tangible computer readable medium of claim 17 , wherein the instructions for displaying the aggregate recipient response summary comprise:

instructions for displaying a total number of recipients that have viewed the managed message; and

instructions for displaying a total number of desired recipients for whom the managed message is undeliverable.

19. The non-transitory tangible computer readable medium of claim 15 , further comprising:

instructions for determining a third category comprising at least one undecided recipient of the managed message that has yet to provide a response regarding attendance of the meeting or event.

20. The non-transitory tangible computer readable medium of claim 19 , further comprising:

instructions for displaying a third list of e-mail addresses of the at least one undecided recipient; and

instructions for displaying, in response to a selection of an undecided recipient in the third list, a name of the selected undecided recipient and a date the managed message was viewed by the selected undecided recipient.
