CUSTOMIZED USER INTERFACE BASED ON USER PROFILE INFORMATION
A user interface including one or more references to content is customized. Several user profiles are provided from which a user may be associated. Each user profile includes user profile information. The user profile associated with a user to whom a user interface will be provided is accessed. A user interface is configured for the user, based at least in part upon the user profile accessed as being associated with the user. Access to content is enabled based on user manipulation of the configured user interface.

accessing, using at least one processor, user profile information associated with a user;
identifying content based on the user profile information; and
customizing a user interface to include the identified content, the user interface to be presented to the user.
62 . The method as recited in claim 61 , wherein the identified content comprises one or more links to content.
63 . The method as recited in claim 62 , wherein the one or more links to content provide access to one or more websites.
64 . The method as recited in claim 61 , wherein the identified content comprises one or more toolbar controls.
65 . The method as recited in claim 64 , wherein the one or more toolbar controls comprise a control providing access to the Internet.
66 . The method as recited in claim 64 , wherein the one or more toolbar controls comprise a control for accessing email.
67 . The method as recited in claim 64 , wherein the one or more toolbar controls comprise a control for accessing one or more websites.
68 . The method as recited in claim 64 , wherein the one or more toolbar controls comprise a button.
69 . The method as recited in claim 64 , wherein the one or more toolbar controls comprise a menu option.
70 . The method as recited in claim 69 , wherein the one or more toolbar controls comprises a pull down menu.
71 . The method as recited in claim 61 , wherein the first content comprises one or more pictures.
72 . The method as recited in claim 61 , wherein the user profile information indicates one or more attributes of the users.
73 . The method as recited in claim 72 , wherein one or more attributes is an age of the user.
74 . The method as recited in claim 72 , wherein the one or more attributes are set by a master user.
75 . The method as recited in claim 72 , further comprising detecting the one or more attributes based on one or more activities of the user.
76 . The method as recited in claim 75 , wherein the one or more activities comprises viewing of one or more webpages.
77 . The method as recited in claim 75 , wherein the one or more activities comprises accessing one or more services.
78 . The method as recited in claim 77 , wherein the one or more services comprises one or more of website browsing, email, chat sessions, and file downloading.
79 . A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium including a set of instructions that, when executed, cause at least one processor to perform steps comprising:
accessing user profile information associated with a user;
identifying content based on the user profile information; and
customizing a user interface to include the identified content, the user interface to be presented to the user.
80 . The computer-readable storage medium as recited in claim 79 , wherein the user profile information indicates one or more attributes of the users.
81 . The computer-readable storage medium as recited in claim 80 , wherein one or more attributes is an age of the user.
82 . The computer-readable storage medium as recited in claim 81 , wherein the one or more attributes are set by a master user.
83 . The computer-readable storage medium as recited in claim 80 , further comprising instructions that, when executed, cause at least one processor to detect the one or more attributes based on one or more activities of the user.
84 . The computer-readable storage medium as recited in claim 83 , wherein the one or more activities comprises viewing of one or more webpages.
85 . The computer-readable storage medium as recited in claim 84 , wherein the identified content comprises one or more links to content.
86 . The computer-readable storage medium as recited in claim 85 , wherein the one or more links to content provide access to one or more websites.
87 . The computer-readable storage medium as recited in claim 83 , wherein the one or more activities comprises accessing one or more services.
88 . The computer-readable storage medium as recited in claim 87 , wherein the one or more services comprises one or more of website browsing, email, chat sessions, and file downloading.
89 . The computer-readable storage medium as recited in claim 88 , wherein the identified content comprises one or more toolbar controls.
90 . The computer-readable storage medium as recited in claim 89 , wherein the one or more toolbar controls comprise a button.
91 . The computer-readable storage medium as recited in claim 89 , wherein the one or more toolbar controls comprise a menu option.
92 . The computer-readable storage medium as recited in claim 91 , wherein the one or more toolbar controls comprises a pull down menu.
93 . A method comprising:
accessing, using at least one processor, user profile information associated with a user;
customizing a user interface based on the accessed user profile information;
presenting the customized user interface, wherein the customized user interface includes at least one toolbar control, the at least one toolbar control being populated with pre-designated references to content selected based on the user profile information; and
enabling access to content in response to manipulation of the customized user interface by the user.
94 . The method as recited in claim 93 , wherein the user profile information indicates one or more attributes of the users.
95 . The method as recited in claim 94 , wherein one or more attributes is an age of the user.
96 . The method as recited in claim 94 , wherein the one or more attributes are set by a master user.
97 . The method as recited in claim 94 , further comprising detecting the one or more attributes based on one or more activities of the user.
98 . The method as recited in claim 97 , wherein the one or more activities comprises viewing of one or more webpages.
