Abstract

A gift transaction system with a buyer interface is disclosed. The buyer interface facilitates personalization by a buyer of a gift package to send to a recipient. A method of operating a gift transaction system with the buyer interface includes: determining gift intent of a buyer account to send a gift item in a gift transaction; generating a buyer gift interface to receive a recipient contact entry of a recipient in response to the determined gift intent; generating an interactive gift notification to the recipient contact entry to receive a confirmation of the gift transaction; and sending a notification to a merchant store to ship a gift package to the recipient in response to receiving the confirmation.

receiving a first input corresponding to navigation determining, by the processor of the gift transaction system, that a buyer account has navigated to a page associated with a digital store front, wherein the first input is received using the processor of the gift transaction system, and wherein the digital store front is associated with a merchant system;

accessing, by a plug-in interface module of the gift transaction system, data associated with a website;

determining gift intent, wherein gift intent is an intention to send a product as a gift item, wherein the gift intent is determined using a behavior trend associated with the website, wherein the behavior trend is determined using the accessed data buyer account, and wherein determining the gift intent includes using the behavior trend and past behavior associated with the accessed data buyer account;

adjusting a graphical interface element of the digital store front, wherein the graphical interface element is adjusted in response to determining the gift intent;

receiving a second input corresponding to the adjusted graphical interface element;

generating a buyer interface, wherein the buyer interface is generated in response to the second input, and wherein the buyer gift interface is embedded within the digital store front;

receiving a third input corresponding to a selection of the gift item, wherein the third input is received using the buyer interface; and

initiating the gift transaction using the selected gift item.

2. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the past behavior associated with the accessed data buyer account includes one or more past interactions with the digital store front.

3. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the past behavior associated with the accessed data buyer account includes a record of one or more past interactions with another digital store front interface.

4. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the accessed data buyer account includes one or more personal attributes.

5. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein determining the gift intent includes:

identifying one or more previous products, wherein the one or more previous products are identified using the accessed data buyer account; and

determining that the one or more previous products excludes the product.

6. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:

receiving a photo of the product, wherein determining the gift intent includes using the photo.

7. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:

determining that the page is associated with a gift item section of the digital store front.

8. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the buyer interface is embedded in a checkout interface of the digital store front.

9. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the buyer interface is embedded in a product page associated with a product.

10. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the buyer interface is configured to receive contact information for a recipient of the selected gift item.

11. A computer-program product tangibly embodied in a non-transitory machine-readable storage medium, including instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:

receive a first input corresponding to navigation determine that a buyer account has navigated to a page associated with a digital store front, wherein the first input is received using the one or more processors, and wherein the digital store front is associated with a merchant system;

access data associated with a website, wherein the data is accessed using a plug-in interface module of the gift transaction system;

determine gift intent, wherein gift intent is an intention to send a product as a gift item, wherein the gift intent is determined using a behavior trend associated with the website, wherein the behavior trend is determined using the accessed data buyer account, and wherein determining the gift intent includes using the behavior trend and past behavior associated with the accessed data buyer account;

adjust a graphical interface element of the digital store front, wherein the graphical interface element is adjusted in response to determining the gift intent;

receive receiving an a second input corresponding to the adjusted graphical interface element;

generate a buyer interface, wherein the buyer interface is generated in response to the second input, and wherein the buyer gift interface is embedded within the digital store front;

receive a third receiving input corresponding to a selection of the gift item, wherein the third input is received using the buyer interface; and

initiate initiating the gift transaction using the selected gift item.

12. The computer-program product of claim 11 , wherein the past behavior associated with the accessed data buyer account includes one or more past interactions with the digital store front.

13. The computer-program product of claim 11 , wherein the past behavior associated with the accessed data buyer account includes a record of one or more past interactions with another digital store front interface.

14. The computer-program product of claim 11 , wherein the accessed data buyer account includes one or more personal attributes.

15. The computer-program product of claim 11 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:

identify one or more previous products, wherein the one or more previous products are identified using the accessed data buyer account; and

determine that the one or more previous products excludes the product.

16. The computer-program product of claim 11 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:

receive a photo of the product, wherein determining the gift intent includes using the photo.

17. The computer-program product of claim 11 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:

determine that the product is associated with a gift item section of the digital store front.

18. The computer-program product of claim 11 , wherein the buyer interface is embedded in a checkout interface of the digital store front.

19. The computer-program product of claim 11 , wherein the buyer interface is embedded in a product page associated with the product.

20. The computer-program product of claim 11 , wherein the buyer interface is configured to receive contact information for a recipient of the selected gift item.

21. A gift transaction system, comprising:

one or more processors; and

a non-transitory computer-readable medium including instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations including:

receiving a first input corresponding to navigation to a page associated with a digital store front, wherein the first input is received using the one or more processors of the gift transaction system, and wherein the digital store front is associated with a merchant system;

accessing data associated with a website, wherein the data is accessed using a plug-in interface module of the gift transaction system;

determining gift intent, wherein gift intent is an intention to send a product as a gift item, wherein the gift intent is determined using a behavior trend associated with the website, wherein the behavior trend is determined using the accessed data, and wherein determining the gift intent includes using the behavior trend and past behavior associated with the accessed data;

adjusting a graphical interface element of the digital store front, wherein the graphical interface element is adjusted in response to determining the gift intent;

receiving a second input corresponding to the adjusted graphical interface element;

generating a buyer interface, wherein the buyer interface is generated in response to the second input, and wherein the buyer gift interface is embedded within the digital store front;

receiving a third input corresponding to a selection of the gift item, wherein the third input is received using the buyer interface; and

initiating the gift transaction using the selected gift item.

22. The gift transaction system of claim 21 , wherein the past behavior associated with the accessed data includes one or more past interactions with the digital store front.
