Abstract

An athletic shoe includes an upper section, an athletic specific bottom section, and an athletic positioning sole. The athletic positioning sole has a geometric shape that, when the athletic shoe is worn on a foot of an athletic and the athlete is standing, positions a heel of the foot above the toes of the foot and positions an outer edge of the foot above an inner edge of the foot.

Claims (36)

1. An athletic shoe comprises:

an upper section;

an athletic specific bottom section; and

an athletic positioning sole coupled to the upper section and the athletic specific bottom section, wherein the athletic positioning sole has a geometric shape that, when the athletic shoe is worn on a foot of an athlete, the athlete is standing, and the athletic specific bottom section is in contact with ground:

the athletic positioning sole has a uniform height from an outer edge to an inner edge of the athletic shoe along the rear edge of a heel section of the athletic shoe to position, from a rear perspective, a heel of the foot to be parallel to the ground;

the athletic positioning sole has a first decreasing slope along the inner edge of the athletic positioning sole in a mid-foot section and into a toe section of the athletic positioning sole, has a second decreasing slope along the outer edge of the athletic positioning sole in the mid-foot section and into the toe section, and has a third decreasing slope from the outer edge to the inner edge of the athletic positioning sole in the mid-foot section and into the toe section to position the heel above a mid-foot and a ball-of-foot of the foot and to position an outer edge of the mid-foot and the ball-of-foot above an inner edge of the mid-foot and the ball-of-foot.

2. The athletic shoe of claim 1 , wherein the athletic positioning sole further comprises:

the geometric shape having a relatively level heel area and a sloped area that has a slope that positions the outer edge of the foot above the inner edge of the foot.

3. The athletic shoe of claim 1 , wherein the athletic positioning sole further comprises:

the geometric shape having a gradient slope area that positions the heel above toes and positions the outer edge of the foot above the inner edge of the foot.

4. The athletic shoe of claim 1 , wherein the athletic positioning sole further comprises:

the geometric shape having an angled plane from a mid-foot section to a toe section such that the outer edge of the foot is positioned above the inner edge of the foot.

5. The athletic shoe of claim 1 , wherein the athletic positioning sole further comprises:

the geometric shape having a curved sloped plane from a mid-foot section to a toe section such that the outer edge of the foot is positioned above the inner edge of the foot.

6. The athletic shoe of claim 1 , wherein the athletic positioning sole further comprises:

the geometric shape having a convex sloped plane from a mid-foot section to a toe section such that the outer edge of the foot is positioned above the inner edge of the foot.

7. The athletic shoe of claim 1 , wherein the athletic positioning sole further comprises:

the geometric shape having a concave sloped plane from a mid-foot section to a toe section such that the outer edge of the foot is positioned above the inner edge of the foot.

8. An athletic shoe comprises:

an upper section;

an athletic specific bottom section; and

an athletic positioning sole coupled to the upper section and the athletic specific bottom section, wherein the athletic positioning sole has a geometric shape that, when the athletic shoe is worn on a foot of an athlete, the athlete is standing, and the athletic specific bottom section is in contact with ground, positions the athlete in an athletic position where weight of the athlete is distributed more heavily on an inside of a leg than on an outside of the leg and:

the athletic positioning sole has a uniform height from an outer edge to an inner edge of the athletic shoe along the rear edge of a heel section of the athletic shoe to position, from a rear perspective, a heel of the foot to be parallel to the ground;

the athletic positioning sole has a first decreasing slope along the inner edge of the athletic positioning sole in a mid-foot section and into a toe section of the athletic positioning sole, has a second decreasing slope along the outer edge of the athletic positioning sole in the mid-foot section and into the toe section, and has a third decreasing slope from the outer edge to the inner edge of the athletic positioning sole in the mid-foot section and into the toe section to position the heel above a mid-foot and a ball-of-foot of the foot and to position an outer edge of the mid-foot and the ball-of-foot above an inner edge of the mid-foot and the ball-of-foot.

9. The athletic shoe of claim 8 , wherein the athletic positioning sole further comprises:

the geometric shape having a relatively level heel area and a sloped area that has a slope that positions the athlete in an athletic position.

10. The athletic shoe of claim 8 , wherein the athletic positioning sole further comprises:

the geometric shape having a gradient slope area that positions the athlete in an athletic position.

11. The athletic shoe of claim 8 , wherein the athletic positioning sole further comprises:

the geometric shape having an angled plane from a mid-foot section to a toe section that positions the athlete in an athletic position.

12. The athletic shoe of claim 8 , wherein the athletic positioning sole further comprises:

the geometric shape having a curved sloped plane from a mid-foot section to a toe section that positions the athlete in an athletic position.

13. The athletic shoe of claim 8 , wherein the athletic positioning sole further comprises:

the geometric shape having a convex sloped plane from a mid-foot section to a toe section that positions the athlete in an athletic position.

14. The athletic shoe of claim 8 , wherein the athletic positioning sole further comprises:

the geometric shape having a concave sloped plane from a mid-foot section to a toe section that positions the athlete in an athletic position.
