SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATED MOBILE ALERT-BASED TRADING MOBILE TRADE REPLICATION AND DETACHMENT
A system and method for automated securities trading is provided. The system includes a lead trader account database, a follower account database, and a trade determination system. Trade information is received from a lead trader and a listing of followers for the lead trader is retrieved from the lead account database. For each follower, their account at the follower account database is accessed to confirm that they desire to participate in the lead trader's trade and that they have enough funds to do so. The lead trader and follower's traders are then grouped together and traded as a single trade. The traded shares are then provided to the lead trader and followers at the average price of the trade.
1 . A method for securities trading, said method including:
receiving, at a mobile trade determination system, a lead trader identification, a lead trader share identification, a lead trader share number, and a share price;
receiving, at said mobile trade determination system, a mobile follower contact data from a mobile follower contact database, wherein said mobile follower contact data is determined using said lead trader identification;
receiving, at said mobile trade determination system, a mobile follower account setting data from a mobile follower account database;
assembling a mobile trading interface wherein said mobile trading interface displays a proposed trade including said lead trader share identification, said lead trader share number, and said share price,
wherein said mobile trading interface also includes a stop price, wherein said stop price is determined by applying said mobile follower account setting data to said share price; and
transmitting said mobile trading interface to a mobile follower device using said mobile follower contact information,
wherein said mobile trading interface allows a mobile follower to select the initiation of said proposed trade, and
wherein said mobile trading interface allows said mobile follower to select the modification of said proposed trade.
2 . The method of claim 1 wherein said mobile trading interface also allows a mobile follower to select to ignore the proposed trade.
3 . The method of claim 1 wherein said mobile trading interface allows a mobile follower to adjust said mobile follower account setting data.
4 . The method of claim 1 further including, when said mobile follower selects the modification of a proposed trade, allowing said mobile follower to modify a share number of said proposed trade.
5 . The method of claim 1 further including, when said mobile follower selects the modification of a proposed trade, allowing said mobile follower to modify a share price of said proposed trade.
6 . The method of claim 1 further including, when said mobile follower selects the modification of a proposed trade, allowing said mobile follower to modify an order type of said proposed trade.
7 . The method of claim 1 further including, when said mobile follower selects the modification of a proposed trade, allowing said mobile follower to modify a price type of said proposed trade.
8 . A system for securities trading, said system including:
a mobile trade determination system receiving a lead trader identification, a lead trader share identification, a lead trader share number, and a share price;
a mobile follower contact database;
a mobile follower account database, wherein said mobile trade determination system receives a mobile follower contact data from said mobile follower contact database, wherein said mobile follower contact data is determined using said lead trader identification,
wherein said mobile trade determination system receives a mobile follower account setting data from said mobile follower account database,
wherein said mobile trade determination system assembles a mobile trading interface that displays a proposed trade including said lead trader share identification, said lead trader share number, and said share price,
wherein said mobile trading interface also displays a stop price, wherein said stop price is determined by applying said mobile follower account setting data to said share price; and
a mobile follower device receiving and displaying said mobile trading interface, wherein said mobile follower device allows the selection of a trade command to initiate said proposed trade and wherein said mobile follower device allows the selection of a modify command to modify said proposed trade.
9 . The system of claim 8 wherein said mobile trading interface also allows a mobile follower to select to ignore the proposed trade.
10 . The system of claim 8 wherein said mobile trading interface allows a mobile follower to adjust said mobile follower account setting data.
11 . The system of claim 8 further including, when said modify command is selected, displaying a modify interface on said mobile follower device.
12 . The system of claim 11 wherein said modify interface allows said mobile follower to modify a share number of said proposed trade.
13 . The system of claim 11 wherein said modify interface allows said mobile follower to modify a share price of said proposed trade.
14 . The system of claim 11 wherein said modify interface allows said mobile follower to modify an order type of said proposed trade.
15 . The system of claim 11 wherein said modify interface allows said mobile follower to modify a price type of said proposed trade.
