Abstract

A system is provided for obtaining monitored information about an individual and provide the individual with feedback. A monitoring device has one or more sensors that detect or measure individual information selected from of at least one of, an individual's activities, behaviors and habit information, and an individual's health. The monitoring device includes ID circuitry with an ID storage that contains a unique individual ID, a communication system which reads and transmits the unique individual ID from the ID storage, a power source and a pathway system. A telemetry system is in communication with the monitoring device. The telemetry system has a database that includes base individual information selected from at least one of, individual physiological information, information that is indicative of the individual's activities, data indicative of one or more contextual parameters of the individual and information regarding a degree to which an individual has followed a routine.

Claims (38)

1. A system for obtaining monitored information about an individual and provide the individual with feedback, comprising:

a monitoring device including a microphone; an RF transmitter and sensors to determine air quality; sound level/quality, light quality and ambient temperature near the user, the RF transmitter serving as a communication system;

an accelerometer configured to detect a user's movement information, the accelerometer and the monitoring system configured to assist to determine a user's sleep information and sleep behavior information, the microphone configured to record user movement sounds detected by the accelerometer, the accelerometer configured to cause the microphone to stop recording user movement sounds when the movement sounds are not directed to a sleep related parameter; and

a telemetry system in communication with the monitoring device, the telemetry system having a database that includes base individual information selected from at least one of, individual physiological information, information that is indicative of the individual's activities, data indicative of one or more contextual parameters of the individual and information regarding a degree to which an individual has followed a routine.

2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the routine includes at least one of individual, nutrition, activity level, mind centering, sleep, daily activities and exercise.

3. The system of claim 1 , further comprising:

one or more analysis tools at the telemetry system.

4. The system of claim 3 , further comprising:

a feedback system or subsystem at the telemetry system that provides feedback to the individual.

5. The system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more analysis tools in operation compares the individual information from the monitoring device to the base individual information in the database.

6. The system of claim 5 , wherein the base individual information includes threshold values.

7. The system of claim 6 , the one or more analysis tools in operation compares the individual information from the monitoring device to the threshold values.

8. The system of claim 7 , further comprising: an alert at the monitoring device.

9. The system of claim 8 , wherein the alert is activated when an individual information exceeds a threshold value.

10. The system of claim 9 , wherein the alert is activated only when the individual is awake.

11. The system of claim 8 , wherein the alert is an audio or visual alert.

12. The system of claim 11 , wherein the monitoring system includes at least one of a display and an audio device.

13. The system of either claim 4 , wherein the feedback is in graphical form.

14. The system of claim 4 , wherein the feedback system or subsystem in operation generates one or more web pages containing feedback.

15. A system for obtaining monitored information about an individual and provide the individual with feedback, comprising:

a monitoring device including a microphone, an RF transmitter and sensors to determine air quality, sound level/quality, light quality and ambient temperature near the user, the RF transmitter serving as a communication system;

an accelerometer configured to detect a user's movement information, the accelerometer and the monitoring system configured to assist to determine a user's sleep information and sleep behavior information, the microphone configured to record user movement sounds detected by the accelerometer, the accelerometer configured to cause the microphone to stop recording user movement sounds when the movement sounds are not directed to a sleep related parameter; and

a telemetry system in communication with the monitoring device, the telemetry system having a database that includes individual goals selected from at least one of, individual physiological information, information that is indicative of the individual's activities, data indicative of one or more contextual parameters of the individual and information regarding a degree to which an individual has followed a routine.

16. The system of claim 15 , wherein the routine includes at least one of individual, nutrition, activity level, mind centering, sleep, daily activities and exercise.

17. The system of claim 15 , further comprising:

one or more analysis tools at the telemetry system.

18. The system of claim 17 , further comprising:

a feedback system or subsystem at the telemetry system that provides feedback to the individual.

19. The system of claim 17 , wherein the one or more analysis tools in operation compares the individual information from the monitoring device to the base individual information in the database.

20. The system of claim 17 , wherein individual goals includes threshold values.

21. The system of claim 17 , the one or more analysis tools in operation compares the individual information from the monitoring device to the threshold values.

22. The system of claim 15 , further comprising: an alert at the monitoring device.

23. The system of claim 22 , wherein the alert is activated when an individual information exceeds a threshold value.

24. The system of claim 23 , wherein the alert is activated only when the individual is awake.

25. The system of claim 22 , wherein the alert is an audio or visual alert.

26. The system of claim 15 , wherein the monitoring system includes at least one of a display and an audio device.

27. The system of claim 17 , wherein the feedback is in graphical form.

28. The system of claim 17 , wherein the feedback system or subsystem in operation generates one or more web pages containing feedback.
