Abstract

According to one embodiment, a solid electrolyte secondary battery includes a positive electrode containing an active material, a negative electrode containing an active material, and a solid electrolyte layer. The solid electrolyte layer includes a lithium-ion conductive sulfide containing at least one element selected from a group consisting of Al, Si, Fe, Ni, and Zr, the total content of the element in the lithium-ion conductive sulfide is 0.03% by mass or more and 0.3% by mass or less.

Claims (12)

1. A lithium-ion conductive sulfide including at least one element selected from a group consisting of Fe, Ni, and Zr, wherein the total content of the element in the lithium-ion conductive sulfide is 0.03% by mass or more and 0.3% by mass or less.

2. The lithium-ion conductive sulfide of claim 1 , wherein the lithium-ion conductive sulfide is (1-x-y) Li 2 S.xGeS 2 .yP 2 S 5 , where x and y are 0≦5x<0.5, 0≦y<0.4, respectively.

3. The lithium-ion conductive sulfide of claim 1 , wherein the lithium-ion conductive sulfide is Li 4-x Ge 1-x P x S 4 , where x is 0.2<x≦0.9.

4. The lithium-ion conductive sulfide of claim 1 , wherein the lithium-ion conductive sulfide is (1-x) Li 2 S.xP 2 S 5 , where x is 0.15-≦x<0.5.

5. A solid electrolyte secondary battery comprising, a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a solid electrolyte layer,

wherein the solid electrolyte layer comprises a lithium-ion conductive sulfide including at least one element selected from a group consisting of Fe, Ni, and Zr, and

the total content of the element in the lithium-ion conductive sulfide is 0.03% by mass or more and 0.3% by mass or less.

6. The solid electrolyte secondary battery of claim 5 , wherein at least one selected from the positive electrode and the negative electrode comprises the lithium-ion conductive sulfide including at least one element selected from a group consisting of Fe, Ni, and Zr, the total content of the element in the lithium-ion conductive sulfide is 0.03% by mass or more and 0.3% by mass or less the element.

7. A battery pack comprising the solid electrolyte secondary battery according to claim 5 .

8. The solid electrolyte secondary battery of claim 5 , wherein the lithium-ion conductive sulfide is (1-x-y) Li 2 S.xGeS 2 .yP 2 S 5 , where x and y are 0≦x<0.5, 0≦y<0.4, respectively.

9. The solid electrolyte secondary battery of claim 5 , wherein the lithium-ion conductive sulfide is Li 4-x Ge 1-x P x S 4 , where x is 0.2<x≦0.9.

10. The solid electrolyte secondary battery of claim 5 , wherein the lithium-ion conductive sulfide is (1-x) Li 2 S.xP 2 S 5 , where x is 0.15≦x<0.5.
