Abstract

Disclosed herein are methods for treating hair related disorders, including compounds that may be specific or modulate PPAR receptors.

Claims (9)

1 . A method for treating or ameliorating a hair related condition in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering an effective amount to the subject of a composition comprising N-acetyl-(R)-(−)-3-(4-aminophenyl)-2-methoxypropionic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or N-oxide thereof; and an excipient.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the hair related condition is hair de-pigmentation or vitiligo.

5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the composition is administered topically.

6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the composition is pharmaceutically or cosmetically acceptable.

7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the composition further comprises a hair stimulating agent.
