Abstract

The present embodiments provide a method of building an aviary comprising a floor, a roof, a frame, an exterior wall, and a cage tower including a plurality of support members. The method includes disposing the cage tower on the floor. The method also includes attaching the frame to the plurality of support members. The method also includes attaching at least one of the exterior wall and the roof to the frame. The present embodiments also provide an aviary having a cage tower including a plurality of support members. The cage tower is disposed on a floor. A frame is attached to the plurality of support members. At least one of an exterior wall and a roof is attached to the frame.

Claims (56)

1. A method of building an aviary comprising a floor, a roof, a frame, an exterior wall, and a cage tower including a plurality of support members, the method comprising:

disposing the cage tower on the floor;

attaching the frame to the plurality of support members; and

attaching at least one of the exterior wall and the roof to the frame.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the frame is a roof frame, the method further comprising:

attaching the roof frame to the plurality of support members; and

attaching the roof to the roof frame.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the frame is a wall frame, the method further comprising:

attaching the wall frame to the plurality of support members; and

attaching the exterior wall to the wall frame.

4. The method of claim 3 further comprising securing at least a portion of the wall frame to the floor.

5. The method of claim 3 further comprising securing at least a portion of the exterior wall to the floor.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of support members includes a first plurality of support members and a second plurality of support members, and wherein the frame includes a roof frame and a wall frame, the method further comprising:

attaching the roof frame to the first plurality of support members;

attaching a roof to the roof frame;

attaching the wall frame to the second plurality of support members; and

attaching the exterior wall to the wall frame.

7. The method of claim 6 further comprising attaching the wall frame to the roof frame.

8. The method of claim 6 further comprising attaching the exterior wall to the roof.

9. The method of claim 1 , wherein the cage tower includes at least one aviary cage, the method further comprising extending the plurality of support members at least one of above or below the at least one aviary cage.

10. The method of claim 1 , further comprising

disposing a plurality of cage towers on the floor, each cage tower having at least one support member; and

attaching the frame to the at least one support member of each of the plurality of cage towers.

11. A method of building an aviary comprising a floor, a roof, a roof frame, an exterior wall, a wall frame, and a cage tower including a plurality of first support members and a plurality of second support members, the method comprising:

disposing the cage tower on the floor;

attaching the roof frame to the plurality of first support members;

attaching the roof to the roof frame;

attaching the wall frame to the plurality of second support members;

attaching the wall frame to the roof frame; and

attaching the exterior wall to the wall frame.

12. The method of claim 11 further comprising securing at least a portion of the wall frame to the floor.

13. The method of claim 11 further comprising securing at least a portion of the exterior wall to the floor.

14. The method of claim 11 further comprising attaching the exterior wall to the roof.

15. The method of claim 11 , wherein the cage tower includes at least one aviary cage, the method further comprising extending the plurality of support members at least one of above or below the at least one aviary cage.

16. The method of claim 11 , further comprising

disposing a plurality of cage towers on the floor, each cage tower having at least one first support member; and

attaching the roof frame to the at least one first support member of each of the plurality of cage towers.

17. An aviary comprising:

a floor;

a cage tower disposed on the floor;

a plurality of first support members extending from the cage tower;

a plurality of second support members extending from the cage tower;

a roof frame attached to the plurality of first support members;

a roof attached to the roof frame;

a wall frame attached to the plurality of second support members; and

an exterior wall attached to the wall frame.

18. The aviary of claim 17 , wherein the plurality of first support members extend from a top of the cage tower.

19. The aviary of claim 17 , wherein the plurality of first support members extend from a side of the cage tower.

20. The aviary of claim 17 , wherein the wall frame is attached to the roof frame.

21. The aviary of claim 17 , wherein at least a portion of the wall frame is secured to the floor.

22. The aviary of claim 17 , wherein the cage tower comprises at least one aviary cage, the plurality of support members extending at least one of above or below the at least one aviary cage.

23. The aviary of claim 17 , further comprising a plurality of cage towers disposed on the floor, wherein each cage tower has at least one first support member, and wherein the roof frame is attached to the at least one first support member of each of the plurality of cage towers.

24. A method of building an aviary comprising a floor, a roof, a frame, an exterior wall, and a cage tower including a plurality of support members, the method comprising:

disposing a plurality of cage towers on the floor, each cage tower having at least one support member;

attaching the frame to at least one of the plurality of support members; and

attaching at least one of the exterior wall and the roof to the frame.
