Multiprocessor having associated RAM units
View Patent ↗A multiprocessor has a plurality of arithmetic units, each having two input registers and one output register, and a plurality of RAM units each having RAM memory and a pointer associated with the RAM memory such as a program pointer, an address pointer, a stack pointer or a subroutine claim pointer.
1. A processor device comprising:
a plurality of arithmetic units, each arithmetic unit having two input registers and one output register;
a plurality of RAM units, each RAM unit having RAM memory and one of
a program pointer;
an address pointer for data accesses;
a stack pointer for stack accesses; or
a frame pointer for securing the stack pointer in subprogram calls.
2. The processing device of claim 1 further including at least one input-output processor connected to at least one of said plurality of arithmetic units or to one of said plurality of RAM units.
