User terminal device and displaying method thereof

1. A displaying method of a user terminal device comprising a flexible display which is divided by a folding line into a first area and a second area, the second area being larger than the first area and comprising an exposure area that is exposed while the flexible display is folded along the folding line such that the first area faces the second area, the method comprising:

in response to an incoming telephone call while the flexible display is an unfolded state, displaying a first screen for indicating the telephone call on the first area and the second area;

detecting at least one of a first folding interaction of folding the flexible display from the unfolded state to a first folded state such that the first area faces the second area and a second folding interaction of folding the flexible display from the unfolded state to a second folded state such that a first cover corresponding to the first area faces a second cover corresponding to the second area while the first screen is displayed; and

in response to detecting the first folding interaction, displaying a second screen for indicating refusal of the telephone call on the exposure area, and in response to detecting the second folding interaction, displaying a third screen for indicating acceptance of the telephone call on one of the first area and the second area.

2. The method as claimed in claim 1 , wherein in response to the first screen including information, one of the second screen and the third screen is a screen including brief summary information of the information.

3. The method as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising:

displaying a visual effect of changing an object or an image content on the flexible display.

4. A displaying method of a user terminal device comprising a flexible display which is divided by a folding line into a first area and a second area, the second area being larger than the first area and comprising an exposure area that is exposed while the flexible display is folded along the folding line such that the first area faces the second area, the method comprising:

in response to an incoming telephone call while the flexible display is in a folded state, displaying a first screen for indicating the telephone call on the exposure area;

detecting at least one of an unfolding interaction of unfolding the flexible display from the folded state to an unfolded state and a folding interaction of folding the flexible display from the unfolded state to the folded state such that a first cover corresponding to the first area faces a second cover corresponding to the second area; and

in response to detecting the unfolding interaction, displaying a second screen indicating acceptance of the telephone call on the first area and the second area, and in response to detecting the folding interaction, displaying a third screen related to the first screen on the first area or the second area.

5. The method as claimed in claim 4 , wherein in response to the first screen including information, one of the second screen and the third screen is a screen including detailed information of the information.

6. A displaying method of a user terminal device comprising a flexible display which is divided by a folding line into a first area and a second area, the second area being larger than the first area and comprising an exposure area that is exposed while the flexible display is folded along the folding line such that the first area faces the second area, the method comprising:

in response to an incoming telephone call while the flexible display is unfolded, displaying a first screen for indicating the telephone call on the first area and the second area;

detecting at least one of a first flap interaction of folding the flexible display forward up to a predetermined angle range and then unfolding the flexible display and a second flap interaction of folding the flexible display backward up to a predetermined angle range and then unfolding the flexible display; and

in response to detecting the first flap interaction, displaying a second screen for indicating refusal of the telephone call on the second area, and in response to detecting the second flap interaction, displaying a third screen for indicating acceptance of the telephone call on the second area.

The method as claimed in claim 6 , wherein in response to the first screen including information, one of the second screen and the third screen is a screen including brief summary information of the information, and an other screen of the second screen and the third screen is a screen including detailed information of the information.

8. A user terminal device comprising:

a flexible display configured to display, in response to an incoming telephone call while the flexible display is an unfolded state, a first screen for indicating the telephone call on a first area and a second area, the flexible display being divided by a folding line into the first area and the second area, the second area being larger than the first area and comprising an exposure area that is exposed while the flexible display is folded along the folding line such that the first area faces the second area;

a detector configured to detect, while the first screen is displayed, a first folding interaction of folding the flexible display from the unfolded state to a first folded state such that the first area faces the second area and a second folding interaction of folding the flexible display from the unfolded state to a second folded state such that a first cover corresponding to the first area faces a second cover corresponding to the second area; and

a controller configured to, in response to detecting the first folding interaction, display a second screen for indicating refusal of the telephone call on the exposure area, and in response to detecting the second folding interaction, display a third screen for indicating acceptance of the telephone call on the first area or the second area.

9. The device as claimed in claim 8 , wherein in response to the first screen including information, one of the second screen and the third screen is a screen including brief summary information of the information.

10. The device as claimed in claim 8 , wherein the controller controls the flexible display to display a visual effect of changing an object or an image content on the flexible display.

11. The device as claimed in claim 8 , wherein the detector is further configured to detect a touch input at the flexible display, and

wherein the controller is further configured to determine the second screen based on a touch input detected at the flexible display.

12. The device as claimed in claim 11 , wherein the controller is further configured to determine the second screen based on an icon indicated by the touch input during the first folding interaction.

13. The device as claimed in claim 8 , wherein the flexible display is a single continuous flexible display.

14. A user terminal device comprising:

a flexible display configured to display, in response to an incoming telephone call while the flexible display is in a folded state, a first screen for indicating the telephone call on an exposure area, the flexible display being divided by a folding line into a first area and a second area, the second area being larger than the first area and comprising the exposure area that is exposed while the flexible display is folded along the folding line such that the first area faces the second area;

a detector configured to detect an unfolding interaction of unfolding the flexible display from the folded state to an unfolded state and a folding interaction of folding the flexible display from the unfolded state to the folded state such that a first cover corresponding to the first area faces a second cover corresponding to the second area; and

a controller configured to, in response to detecting the unfolding interaction, displaying a second screen indicating acceptance of the telephone call on the first area and the second area, and in response to detecting the folding interaction, displaying a third screen related to the first screen on the first area or the second area.

15. The device as claimed in claim 14 , wherein in response to the first screen including information, one of the second screen and the third screen is a screen including detailed information of the information.

16. A user terminal device comprising:

a flexible display configured to display, in response to an incoming telephone call while the flexible display is unfolded, a first screen for indicating the telephone call on a first area and a second area, the flexible display being divided by a folding line into the first area and the second area, the second area being larger than the first area and comprising an exposure area that is exposed while the flexible display is folded along the folding line such that the first area faces the second area, the device comprising;

a detector configured to detect a first flap interaction of folding the flexible display forward up to a predetermined angle range with reference to the folding line and then unfolding the flexible display and a second flap interaction of folding the flexible display backward up to a predetermined angle range and then unfolding the flexible display; and

a controller configured to, in response to detecting the first flap interaction, display a second screen for indicating refusal of the telephone call on the second area, and in response to detecting the second flap interaction, display a third screen for indicating acceptance of the telephone call on the second area.

The device as claimed in claim 16 , wherein in response to the first screen including information, one of the second screen and the third screen is a screen including brief summary information of the information, and an other screen of the second screen and the third screen is a screen including detailed information of the information.
