Composition and method for treating surfaces
Compositions to treat surfaces to affect materials deposited on such surfaces and methods of treating surfaces with such compositions to affect such deposition materials.
1. A surface treatment composition, comprising:
an amount of water;
an amount of 2-phosphonobutane-1,2,4 tricarboxylic acid of about 0.05 weight percent to about 0.85 weight percent;
an amount of citric acid;
an amount of L(+)-lactic acid;
an amount of gluconic acid;
an amount of capryleth-9 carboxylic acid;
an amount of lauramine oxide; and
an amount of dipropylene glycol n-propyl ether, wherein said surface treatment composition contains less than 0.1 weight percent phosphorus, and the composition has a pH of 1.0 or less.
2. The surface treatment composition of claim 1 , wherein said amount of citric acid comprises about 3.0 weight percent and about 5.0 weight percent.
3. The surface treatment composition of claim 1 , wherein said amount of L(+)-lactic acid comprises about 3.0 weight percent and about 5.0 weight percent.
4. The surface treatment composition of claim 1 , wherein said amount of gluconic acid comprises about 2.0 weight percent and about 7.5 weight percent.
5. The surface treatment composition of claim 1 , wherein said amount of capryleth-9 carboxylic acid comprises about 2.0 weight percent and about 4.0 weight percent.
6. The surface treatment composition of claim 1 , wherein said amount of lauramine oxide comprises about 0.01 weight percent and about 0.15 weight percent.
7. The surface treatment composition of claim 1 , wherein said amount of dipropylene glycol n-propyl ether comprises about 0.1 weight percent and about 1.0 weight percent.
8. The surface treatment composition of claim 1 , further comprising an amount fragrance.
9. The surface treatment composition of claim 1 , wherein
said amount of 2-phosphonobutane-1,2,4 tricarboxylic acid comprises between about 0.05 weight percent and about 0.85 weight percent;
said amount of citric acid comprises between about 3.0 weight percent and about 5.0 weight percent;
said amount of L(+)-lactic acid comprises between about 2.5 weight percent and about 4.5 weight percent;
said amount of gluconic acid comprises between about 2.5 weight percent and about 5.0 weight percent;
said amount of capryleth-9 carboxylic acid comprises between about 2.5 weight percent and about 4.5 weight percent;
said amount of lauramine oxide comprises between about 0.02 weight percent and about 0.15 weight percent; and
said amount of dipropylene glycol n-propyl ether comprises between about 0.1 weight percent and about 1.0 weight percent.
10. The surface treatment composition of claim 9 , wherein said surface treatment composition contains less than 0.1 weight percent phosphorus.
11. A surface treatment composition, comprising:
an amount of water;
an amount of 2-phosphonobutane-1,2,4 tricarboxylic acid of about 0.25 weight percent;
an amount of citric acid of about 4.0 weight percent;
an amount of L(+)-lactic acid of about 3.5 weight percent;
an amount of gluconic acid of about 5.0 weight percent;
an amount of capryleth-9 carboxylic acid of about 3.5 weight percent;
an amount of lauramine oxide of about 0.03 weight percent; and
an amount of dipropylene glycol n-propyl ether of about 0.90 weight percent.
12. A surface treatment composition, consisting of:
an amount of water;
an amount of 2-phosphonobutane-1,2,4 tricarboxylic acid of about 0.25 weight percent;
an amount of citric acid of about 4.0 weight percent;
an amount of L(+)-lactic acid of about 3.5 weight percent;
an amount of gluconic acid of about 5.0 weight percent;
an amount of capryleth-9 carboxylic acid of about 3.5 weight percent;
an amount of lauramine oxide of about 0.03 weight percent;
an amount of dipropylene glycol n-propyl ether of about 0.90 weight percent; and
an amount of fragrance.
