Abstract

The present invention is directed to a system and method for generating, processing and distributing leads, the system comprising a leads processing engine for receiving customer requests, creating leads based upon the customer requests, determining a best available agent or agents for each lead from a pool of available agents based upon one or more selected factors, and offering or sending each lead to the best available agent or agents.

Claims (110)

1. A system for the generation and distribution of leads, the system comprising:

one or more physical processors configured to execute machine-readable instructions to:

obtain, over means for receiving and entering incoming customer requests from customer contacts, customer requests from customer contacts, each of the customer requests including customer information, destination information, and personal preference information;

generate a lead for each of the customer requests based upon the customer information, the destination information, and the personal preference information of each of the customer requests;

determine a best available agent or agents for each of the leads generated from the customer requests from a pool of available agents based upon one or more selected results-based performance factors associated with each of the agents, the one or more selected results-based performance factors include a closing ratio based upon a specific destination specified by the destination information included within the customer requests; and

send each of the leads to the determined best available agent or agents;

wherein for each lead, all available agents for a particular specialty are pooled based upon a type of lead, and ranked based upon a ranking of agents derived from the one or more selected results-based performance factors.

2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the determination of the best available agent is based upon an algorithm comprising machine readable or interpretable instructions for determining the particular agent or agents best suited to close the lead.

3. The system of claim 1 , wherein the personal preference information specifies a preferred supplier a customer's preferred language.

4. The system of claim 1 , wherein the pool of available agents includes all available agents having a specialty or relevant experience with respect to a particular type of lead.

5. The system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more selected factors are selectively weighted such that different factors include different weights in determining the best available agent.

6. A system for the generation and distribution of leads, the system comprising:

means for receiving and entering incoming customer requests from customer contacts, each of the customer requests including customer information, destination information, and personal preference information; and

a leads processing engine for receiving the customer requests, creating leads based upon the customer requests, determining a best available agent or agents for each lead from a pool of available agents based upon one or more selected results-based performance factors associated with each of the agents, and offering or sending each lead to the best available agent or agents;

wherein the one or more selected results-based performance factors include total sales over a selected time frame with respect to a selected agent or destination specified by the personal preference information and the destination information included within the customer requests, for each of the agents from the pool of available agents;

wherein for each lead, the leads processing engine pools all available agents for a particular specialty based upon a type of lead, and provides a ranking of agents derived from the one or more selected results-based performance factors.

7. The system of claim 6 , wherein the selection of the best available agent is based upon an algorithm comprising machine readable or interpretable instructions for determining the particular agent or agents best suited to close the lead.

8. The system of claim 6 , wherein the personal preference information specifies a preferred supplier and a customer's preferred language.

9. The system of claim 6 , wherein the leads processing engine finds all available agents having a specialty or relevant experience with respect to a particular type of lead.

10. The system of claim 6 , wherein the one or more selected factors are selectively weighted such that different factors include different weights in determining the best available agent.

11. A system for the generation and distribution of leads, comprising:

means for receiving and entering incoming customer requests from customer contacts, each of the customer requests including customer information, destination information, and personal preference information; and

a leads processing engine for receiving the customer requests, creating leads based upon the customer requests, determining a best available agent or agents for each lead from a pool of available agents based upon one or more selected results-based performance factors associated with each of the agents, and offering or sending each lead to the best available agent or agents;

wherein the one or more selected results-based performance factors include total SQi (Service Quality Index) with respect to a selected agent or destination specified by the personal preference information and the destination information included within the customer requests, for each of the agents from the pool of available agents;

wherein for each lead, the leads processing engine pools all available agents for a particular specialty based upon a type of lead, and provides a ranking of agents derived from the one or more selected results-based performance factors.

12. The system of claim 11 , wherein the selection of the best available agent is based upon an algorithm comprising machine readable or interpretable instructions for determining the particular agent or agents best suited to close the lead.

13. The system of claim 11 , wherein the personal preference information specifies a preferred supplier and a customer's preferred language.

14. The system of claim 11 , wherein the leads processing engine finds all available agents having a specialty or relevant experience with respect to a particular type of lead.

15. The system of claim 11 , wherein the one or more selected factors are selectively weighted such that different factors include different weights in determining the best available agent.

16. A system for the generation and distribution of leads, comprising:

means for receiving and entering incoming customer requests from customer contacts, each of the customer requests including customer information, destination information, and personal preference information; and

a leads processing engine for receiving the customer requests, creating leads based upon the customer requests, determining a best available agent or agents for each lead from a pool of available agents based upon one or more selected results-based performance factors associated with each of the agents, and offering or sending each lead to the best available agent or agents;

wherein the one or more selected results-based performance factors include repeat or referral customer percentages overall or per lead, for each of the agents from the pool of available agents;

wherein for each lead, the leads processing engine pools all available agents for a particular specialty based upon a type of lead, and provides a ranking of agents derived from the one or more selected results-based performance factors.

17. The system of claim 16 , wherein the selection of the best available agent is based upon an algorithm comprising machine readable or interpretable instructions for determining the particular agent or agents best suited to close the lead.

18. The system of claim 16 , wherein the personal preference information specifies a preferred supplier and a customer's preferred language.

19. The system of claim 16 , wherein the leads processing engine finds all available agents having a specialty or relevant experience with respect to a particular type of lead.

20. The system of claim 16 , wherein the one or more selected factors are selectively weighted such that different factors include different weights in determining the best available agent.

21. A system for the generation and distribution of leads, comprising:

means for receiving and entering incoming customer requests from customer contacts, each of the customer requests including customer information, destination information, and personal preference information; and

a leads processing engine for receiving the customer requests, creating leads based upon the customer requests, determining a best available agent or agents for each lead from a pool of available agents based upon one or more selected results-based performance factors associated with each of the agents, and offering or sending each lead to the best available agent or agents;

wherein the one or more selected results-based performance factors include average revenue per sale based on agent or destination specified by the personal preference information and the destination information included within the customer requests, for each of the agents from the pool of available agents;

wherein for each lead, the leads processing engine pools all available agents for a particular specialty based upon a type of lead, and provides a ranking of agents derived from the one or more selected results-based performance factors.

22. The system of claim 21 , wherein the selection of the best available agent is based upon an algorithm comprising machine readable or interpretable instructions for determining the particular agent or agents best suited to close the lead.

23. The system of claim 21 , wherein the personal preference information specifies a preferred supplier and a customer's preferred language.

24. The system of claim 21 , wherein the leads processing engine finds all available agents having a specialty or relevant experience with respect to a particular type of lead.

25. The system of claim 21 , wherein the one or more selected factors are selectively weighted such that different factors include different weights in determining the best available agent.

26. A system for the generation and distribution of leads, comprising:

means for receiving and entering incoming customer requests from customer contacts, each of the customer requests including customer information, destination information, and personal preference information; and

a leads processing engine for receiving the customer requests, creating leads based upon the customer requests, determining a best available agent or agents for each lead from a pool of available agents based upon one or more selected results-based performance factors associated with each of the agents, and offering or sending each lead to the best available agent or agents;

wherein the one or more selected results-based performance factors include average revenue per lead by agent or destination specified by the personal preference information and the destination information included within the customer requests, for each of the agents from the pool of available agents;

wherein for each lead, the leads processing engine pools all available agents for a particular specialty based upon a type of lead, and provides a ranking of agents derived from the one or more selected results-based performance factors.

27. The system of claim 26 , wherein the selection of the best available agent is based upon an algorithm comprising machine readable or interpretable instructions for determining the particular agent or agents best suited to close the lead.

28. The system of claim 26 , wherein the personal preference information specifies a preferred supplier and a customer's preferred language.

29. The system of claim 26 , wherein the leads processing engine finds all available agents having a specialty or relevant experience with respect to a particular type of lead.

30. The system of claim 26 , wherein the one or more selected factors are selectively weighted such that different factors include different weights in determining the best available agent.

31. A system for the generation and distribution of leads, comprising:

means for receiving and entering incoming customer requests from customer contacts, each of the customer requests including customer information, destination information, and personal preference information; and

a leads processing engine for receiving the customer requests, creating leads based upon the customer requests, determining a best available agent or agents for each lead from a pool of available agents based upon one or more selected results-based performance factors associated with each of the agents, and offering or sending each lead to the best available agent or agents;

wherein the one or more selected results-based performance factors include average bookings per lead claimed, for each of the agents from the pool of available agents;

wherein for each lead, the leads processing engine pools all available agents for a particular specialty based upon a type of lead, and provides a ranking of agents derived from the one or more selected results-based performance factors.

32. The system of claim 31 , wherein the selection of the best available agent is based upon an algorithm comprising machine readable or interpretable instructions for determining the particular agent or agents best suited to close the lead.

33. The system of claim 31 , wherein the personal preference information specifies a preferred supplier and a customer's preferred language.

34. The system of claim 31 , wherein the leads processing engine finds all available agents having a specialty or relevant experience with respect to a particular type of lead.

35. The system of claim 31 , wherein the one or more selected factors are selectively weighted such that different factors include different weights in determining the best available agent.

36. A system for the generation and distribution of leads, comprising:

means for receiving and entering incoming customer requests from customer contacts, each of the customer requests including customer information, destination information, and personal preference information; and

a leads processing engine for receiving the customer requests, creating leads based upon the customer requests, determining a best available agent or agents for each lead from a pool of available agents based upon one or more selected results-based performance factors associated with each of the agents, and offering or sending each lead to the best available agent or agents;

wherein the one or more selected results-based performance factors include agent education or industry based certifications, for each of the agents from the pool of available agents;

wherein for each lead, the leads processing engine pools all available agents for a particular specialty based upon a type of lead, and provides a ranking of agents derived from the one or more selected results-based performance factors.

37. The system of claim 36 , wherein the selection of the best available agent is based upon an algorithm comprising machine readable or interpretable instructions for determining the particular agent or agents best suited to close the lead.

38. The system of claim 36 , wherein the personal preference information specifies a preferred supplier and a customer's preferred language.

39. The system of claim 36 , wherein the leads processing engine finds all available agents having a specialty or relevant experience with respect to a particular type of lead.

40. The system of claim 36 , wherein the one or more selected factors are selectively weighted such that different factors include different weights in determining the best available agent.

41. A system for the generation and distribution of leads, comprising:

means for receiving and entering incoming customer requests from customer contacts, each of the customer requests including customer information, destination information, and personal preference information; and

a leads processing engine for receiving the customer requests, creating leads based upon the customer requests, determining a best available agent or agents for each lead from a pool of available agents based upon one or more selected results-based performance factors associated with each of the agents, and offering or sending each lead to the best available agent or agents;

wherein the one or more selected results-based performance factors include maximum amount per lead agent is willing to pay, for each of the agents from the pool of available agents;

wherein for each lead, the leads processing engine pools all available agents for a particular specialty based upon a type of lead, and provides a ranking of agents derived from the one or more selected results-based performance factors.

42. The system of claim 41 , wherein the selection of the best available agent is based upon an algorithm comprising machine readable or interpretable instructions for determining the particular agent or agents best suited to close the lead.

43. The system of claim 41 , wherein the personal preference information specifies a preferred supplier and a customer's preferred language.

44. The system of claim 41 , wherein the leads processing engine finds all available agents having a specialty or relevant experience with respect to a particular type of lead.

45. The system of claim 41 , wherein the one or more selected factors are selectively weighted such that different factors include different weights in determining the best available agent.

46. A system for the generation and distribution of leads, comprising:

means for receiving and entering incoming customer requests from customer contacts, each of the customer requests including customer information, destination information, and personal preference information; and

a leads processing engine for receiving the customer requests, creating leads based upon the customer requests, determining a best available agent or agents for each lead from a pool of available agents based upon one or more selected results-based performance factors associated with each of the agents, and offering or sending each lead to the best available agent or agents;

wherein the one or more selected results-based performance factors include minimum share of commission per lead agent is willing to accept, for each of the agents from the pool of available agents;

wherein for each lead, the leads processing engine pools all available agents for a particular specialty based upon a type of lead, and provides a ranking of agents derived from the one or more selected results-based performance factors.

47. The system of claim 46 , wherein the selection of the best available agent is based upon an algorithm comprising machine readable or interpretable instructions for determining the particular agent or agents best suited to close the lead.

48. The system of claim 46 , wherein the personal preference information specifies a preferred supplier and a customer's preferred language.

49. The system of claim 46 , wherein the leads processing engine finds all available agents having a specialty or relevant experience with respect to a particular type of lead.

50. The system of claim 46 , wherein the one or more selected factors are selectively weighted such that different factors include different weights in determining the best available agent.

51. A system for the generation and distribution of leads, comprising:

means for receiving and entering incoming customer requests from customer contacts, each of the customer requests including customer information, destination information, and personal preference information; and

a leads processing engine for receiving the customer requests, creating leads based upon the customer requests, determining a best available agent or agents for each lead from a pool of available agents based upon one or more selected results-based performance factors associated with each of the agents, and offering or sending each lead to the best available agent or agents;

wherein the one or more selected results-based performance factors include average and anticipated hold times, for each of the agents from the pool of available agents;

wherein for each lead, the leads processing engine pools all available agents for a particular specialty based upon a type of lead, and provides a ranking of agents derived from the one or more selected results-based performance factors.

52. The system of claim 51 , wherein the selection of the best available agent is based upon an algorithm comprising machine readable or interpretable instructions for determining the particular agent or agents best suited to close the lead.

53. The system of claim 51 , wherein the personal preference information specifies a preferred supplier and a customer's preferred language.

54. The system of claim 51 , wherein the leads processing engine finds all available agents having a specialty or relevant experience with respect to a particular type of lead.

55. The system of claim 51 , wherein the one or more selected factors are selectively weighted such that different factors include different weights in determining the best available agent.

56. A system for the generation and distribution of leads, comprising:

means for receiving and entering incoming customer requests from customer contacts, each of the customer requests including customer information, destination information, and personal preference information; and

a leads processing engine for receiving the customer requests, creating leads based upon the customer requests, determining a best available agent or agents for each lead from a pool of available agents based upon one or more selected results-based performance factors associated with each of the agents, and offering or sending each lead to the best available agent or agents;

wherein the one or more selected results-based performance factors include number of leads available, for each of the agents from the pool of available agents;

wherein for each lead, the leads processing engine pools all available agents for a particular specialty based upon a type of lead, and provides a ranking of agents derived from the one or more selected results-based performance factors.

57. The system of claim 56 , wherein the selection of the best available agent is based upon an algorithm comprising machine readable or interpretable instructions for determining the particular agent or agents best suited to close the lead.

58. The system of claim 56 , wherein the personal preference information specifies a preferred supplier and a customer's preferred language.

59. The system of claim 56 , wherein the leads processing engine finds all available agents having a specialty or relevant experience with respect to a particular type of lead.

60. The system of claim 56 , wherein the one or more selected factors are selectively weighted such that different factors include different weights in determining the best available agent.
