Abstract

The disclosed apparatus, systems and methods relate to a bi-bell exercise device for low-impact exercises. The bi-bell can be used in place of a kettle bell, and has two handles and a selectively rotatable weight. The bi-bell can be used in a fixed configuration, where the weight does not move relative to the handles, or a rotating configuration, where the weight is free to rotate relative to a central post.

Claims (30)

1. A bi-bell training system for a user, comprising:

a. an elongate central post comprising a first post end and second post end;

b. an elongate crossbar fixedly attached to the first post end and comprising a first crossbar end and second crossbar end;

c. a first handle disposed at the first crossbar end;

d. a second handle disposed at the second crossbar end;

e. a rotatable collar disposed around the elongate central post;

f. a collar flange disposed at the elongate central post second post end; and

g. a weight disposed adjacent to the second post end,

wherein the weight is configured to be selectively rotatable relative to the elongate central post by way of the rotatable collar.

2. The bi-bell training system of claim 1 , further comprising a collar fastener.

3. The bi-bell training system of claim 1 , wherein the weight is removable.

4. The bi-bell training system of claim 1 , further comprising a collar fastener.

5. The bi-bell training system of claim 1 , wherein the first handle, second handle and elongate central post are configured to be rested on the forearm of the user.

6. The bi-bell training system of claim 1 , further comprising a linkage disposed between the weight and the rotatable collar.

7. The bi-bell training system of claim 6 , wherein the linkage comprises a first linkage end and a second linkage end, such that the weight can be fitted onto the linkage.

8. The bi-bell training system of claim 6 , further comprising a linkage fastener.

9. A method of exercising, comprising:

a. providing a bi-bell comprising:

i. an elongate central post comprising a first post end and second post end;

ii. an elongate crossbar fixedly attached to the first post end and comprising a first crossbar end and second crossbar end;

iii. a first handle disposed at the first crossbar end;

iv. a second handle disposed at the second crossbar end;

v. a rotatable collar disposed around the elongate central post;

vi. a collar flange disposed at the elongate central post second post end; and

vii. a weight disposed adjacent to the second post end; and

b. performing an exercise using the bi-bell.

10. The method of claim 9 , wherein the weight is able to rotate around the elongate central post by way of the rotatable collar during the performance of the exercise.

11. The method of claim 9 , wherein the bi-bell further comprises a collar fastener.

12. The method of claim 9 , wherein the bi-bell further comprises a linkage fastener.

13. The method of claim 9 , further comprising providing a fixed configuration and a rotating configuration for the bi-bell.
