PRE-COATED SEASONING BAGS
A seasoning bag for seasoning a foodstuff that includes an edible adhesive adhered to an interior of the seasoning bag and a seasoning adhered to the interior of the seasoning bag via the edible adhesive. The seasoning bag may be used in connection the preparation and/or cooking of foodstuffs. The bag may be used to season, marinade, and store a foodstuff. The bag may also be a cook-in bag, suitable for roasting, microwaving, slow cooking, and/or boiling.

21 . A method for manufacturing a seasoning bag, comprising:
expanding a preformed bag;
spraying an edible adhesive into an interior of the bag to form an adhesive layer on the interior of the bag; and
introducing a seasoning into the bag such that the seasoning is adhered to the interior of the bag by the adhesive layer.
22 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the edible adhesive is applied in an amount ranging from about 25 mg per square inch to about 100 mg per square inch.
23 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the seasoning is applied in an amount ranging from about 25 mg per square inch to about 450 mg per square inch.
24 . The method of claim 21 wherein the thickness of the edible adhesive ranges from about 3 mil to about 18 mil and the thickness of the seasoning ranges from about 3 mil to about 18 mil.
25 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the seasoning forms a liquid marinate when combined with water added to the seasoning bag.
26 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the seasoning forms a broth when combined with water added to the seasoning bag.
27 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the seasoning forms a sauce when combined with water added to the seasoning bag.
28 . The method of claim 21 wherein the bag is vacuum sealable.
29 . The method of claim 21 wherein the bag is at least one of an ovenable bag, a boilable bag, a slow cooking bag, or a microwavable bag.
30 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the seasoning includes at least one of a coloring additive, a nutrient, an antimicrobial additive, and a preservative.
31 . The method of claim 21 , wherein introducing the seasoning into the bag comprises spraying the seasoning into the bag.
32 . The method of claim 21 , wherein introducing the seasoning into the bag comprises introducing the seasoning into the bag after the adhesive layer is formed on the interior of the bag.
33 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising mixing the seasoning with the edible adhesive prior to spraying the edible adhesive into the bag, such that introducing the seasoning into the bag is accomplished by spraying the edible adhesive into the bag.
34 . A method for manufacturing a seasoning bag, comprising:
expanding a preformed bag;
spraying an edible adhesive into an interior of the bag in an amount ranging from about 25 mg per square inch to about 100 mg per square inch to form an adhesive layer on the interior of the bag; and
introducing a seasoning into the bag after the adhesive layer is formed on the interior of the bag such that the seasoning is adhered to the interior of the bag by the adhesive layer in an amount ranging from about 25 mg per square inch to about 450 mg per square inch.
