Abstract

The apparatus comprises at least one database for storing digital information associated with at least a first user and a second user, at least one links module for the first user and for the second user, at least one manipulations module and at least one display device for respectively displaying at least said linked digital information wherein said linked digital information associated with said first user is automatically updated on at least said display device of said second user when that information is manipulated, and wherein said linked digital information associated with said second user is automatically updated on at least said display device of said first user when that information is manipulated.

Claims (63)

1. A non-transitory processor-readable medium storing code representing instructions to be executed by a processor, the code comprising code to cause the processor to:

identify content (1) published by a first publisher within a computer network, and (2) associated with an organization, to produce first identified content;

identify content (1) published by a second publisher within the computer network, and (2) associated with the organization, to produce second identified content;

quantify a market presence within the computer network and of the organization based on the first identified content and the second identified content; and

send, to a compute device, a signal representing the market presence.

2. The non-transitory processor-readable medium of claim 1 , wherein the market presence is a first market presence, the content published by the first publisher is first content published by the first publisher,

the code to cause the processor to identify the first content published by the first publisher includes code to cause the processor to identify second content (1) published by the first publisher within the computer network, and (2) associated with the organization, to produce third identified content,

the code to cause the processor to quantify includes code to cause the processor to quantify a publisher specific market presence within the computer network and of the organization based on the first identified content and the third identified content,

the code to cause the processor to send includes code to cause the processor to send, to the compute device, a signal representing the publisher specific market presence.

3. The non-transitory processor-readable medium of claim 1 , wherein the organization is a first organization, the code further comprising code to cause the processor to:

identify content (1) published by the first publisher within the computer network, and (2) associated with a second organization, to produce third identified content;

quantify a market presence within the computer network and of the second organization based on the third identified content; and

compare the market presence of the first organization with the market presence of the second organization to produce a rank of the market presence of the first organization relative to the market presence of the second organization.

4. The non-transitory processor-readable medium of claim 1 , wherein the organization is a first organization, the code further comprising code to cause the processor to:

identify content (1) published by the first publisher within the computer network, and (2) associated with a second organization, to produce third identified content;

quantify a market presence within the computer network and of the second organization based on the third identified content; and

send, to the compute device, a signal representing the market presence of the second organization.

The non-transitory processor-readable medium of claim 1 , wherein both the content published by the first publisher and the content published by the second publisher are associated with a first product or service of the organization, the market presence of the organization being a first product or service specific market presence,

the code further comprising code to cause the processor to:

identify content (1) published by a third publisher within the computer network, and (2) associated with a second product or service of the organization, to produce third identified content;

quantify a second product or service specific market presence (1) within the computer network, (2) of the organization, and (3) associated with the second product or service of the organization, based on the third identified content; and

send, to the compute device, a signal representing the second product or service specific market presence of the organization.

6. The non-transitory processor-readable medium of claim 1 , the code further comprising code to cause the processor to:

detect a topic based on the first identified content; and

detect the topic based on the second identified content, the market presence of the organization being associated with the topic.

7. The non-transitory processor-readable medium of claim 6 , wherein the topic is a first topic, the code further comprising code to cause the processor to:

identify content (1) published by a third publisher within the computer network, and (2) associated with the organization, to produce third identified content;

detect a second topic different than the first topic based on the third identified content;

quantify a market presence within the computer network, of the organization, and associated with the second topic, based on the third identified content; and

compare the market presence associated with the first topic to the market presence associated with the second topic to produce a rank of the market presence of the first topic to the market presence of the second topic.

8. The non-transitory processor-readable medium of claim 6 , wherein the topic is a first topic, the code further comprising code to cause the processor to:

identify content (1) published by a third publisher within the computer network, and (2) associated with the organization, to produce third identified content;

detect a second topic different than the first topic based on the third identified content;

quantify a market presence within the computer network, of the organization, and associated with the second topic, based on the third identified content; and

send, to the compute device, a signal representing the market presence associated with the second topic.

9. The non-transitory processor-readable medium of claim 1 , the code further comprising code to cause the processor to:

identify a geographical location associated with the first identified content; and

identify a geographical location associated with the second identified content, the code to cause the processor to quantify includes code to cause the processor to quantify a geographical location specific market presence within the computer network and of the organization based on the first identified content, the second identified content, the location associated with the first identified content, and the location associated with the second identified content.

10. The non-transitory processor-readable medium of claim 1 , the code further comprising code to cause the processor to:

identify authorship of the content published by the first publisher; and

quantify a party influencer score associated with the organization based on the identified authorship.

11. The non-transitory processor-readable medium of claim 10 , the code further comprising code to cause the processor to:

detect an attitude within the content published by the first publisher and associated with the identified authorship to produce an attitude identifier assigned to the identified authorship.

The non-transitory processor-readable medium of claim 1 , wherein the organization is a first organization, both the content published by the first publisher and the content published by the second publisher are associated with a product or service of the first organization, the market presence of the organization being a product or service specific market presence,

the code further comprising code to cause the processor to:

identify content (1) published by a third publisher within the computer network, and (2) associated with a product or service of a second organization, to produce third identified content;

quantify a product or service specific market presence (1) within the computer network, (2) of the organization, and (3) associated with the product or service of the second organization, based on the third identified content; and

send, to the compute device, a signal representing the product or service specific market presence of the first organization and the product or service specific market presence of the second organization.

13. The non-transitory processor-readable medium of claim 12 , the code further comprising code to cause the processor to:

compare the product or service specific market presence of the first organization with the product or service specific market presence of the second organization to produce a rank of the product or service specific market presence of the first organization with the product or service specific market presence of the second organization.

14. A non-transitory processor-readable medium storing code representing instructions to be executed by a processor, the code comprising code to cause the processor to:

identify content (1) published by a publisher within a computer network, and (2) associated with both a first organization and a second organization, to produce identified content;

detect a first attitude within the identified content and towards the first organization to produce an attitude identifier assigned to the first organization;

detect a second attitude within the identified content and towards the second organization to produce an attitude identifier assigned to the second organization; and

send, to a computer device, a signal representing the attitude identifier assigned to the first organization and the attitude identifier assigned to the second organization.

15. The non-transitory processor-readable medium of claim 14 , further comprising code to cause the processor to:

compare the attitude identifier assigned to the first organization with the attitude identifier assigned to the second organization to produce a rank of the attitude identifier assigned to the first organization to the attitude identifier assigned to the second organization.

16. The non-transitory processor-readable medium of claim 14 , the code further comprising code to cause the processor to:

detect a topic based on the identified content to produce a topic identifier, the code to cause the processor to send includes code to cause the processor to send to the compute device the signal representing the attitude identifier assigned to the first organization, the attitude identifier assigned to the second organization, and the topic identifier.

17. The non-transitory processor-readable medium of claim 14 , wherein the content published by the publisher is associated with both a product or service of the first organization and a product or service of the second organization, the code further comprising code to cause the processor to:

quantify a first product or service specific market presence (1) within the computer network, (2) of the first organization, and (3) associated with the product or service of the first organization, based on the identified content and the attitude identifier assigned to the first organization; and

quantify a second product or service specific market presence (1) within the computer network, (2) of the second organization, and (3) associated with the product or service of the second organization, based on the identified content and the attitude identifier assigned to the second organization,

the code to cause the processor to send includes code to cause the processor to send to the compute device the signal representing the attitude identifier assigned to the first organization, the attitude identifier assigned to the second organization, the first product or service specific market presence and the second product or service specific market presence.
