SYSTEM AND INTERFACE FOR VIEWING MODULARIZED AND TAXONOMY-BASED CLASSIFICATION OF REGULATORY OBLIGATIONS QUALITATIVE DATA
A system is provided for viewing modularized data and taxonomy based classifications of regulatory obligations. The system comprises a plurality of databases storing regulatory compliance data and business operation data for a plurality of businesses, and taxonomy engine circuitry that identifies subsets of the stored regulatory compliance data related to the business operation data for a first business user. A system interface displays a dashboard summary of regulatory compliance data related to the first business user's business operation data when the first business user logs into the system, and the summary contains a plurality of a summary of regulations related to the first business user's business operation data, a summary of business requirements related to the first business user's business operation data, a summary of tasks to be completed in order to comply with one or more regulations.
1 . A system for viewing modularized data and taxonomy based classifications of regulatory obligations, the system comprising:
a plurality of databases storing regulatory compliance data and business operation data for a plurality of businesses;
taxonomy engine circuitry that identifies subsets of the stored regulatory compliance data related to the business operation data for a first business user;
a system interface that displays a dashboard summary of regulatory compliance data related to the first business user's business operation data when the first business user logs into the system,
where in the summary contains a plurality of a summary of regulations related to the first business user's business operation data, a summary of business requirements related to the first business user's business operation data, a summary of tasks to be completed in order to comply with one or more regulations.
2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the system interface further displays a series of a series of taxonomy questions, and allow the first business user to provide answers to the series of taxonomy questions.
3 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the first business user's answers to the series of taxonomy questions are used to identify the subsets of the stored regulatory compliance data related to the business operation data for a first business user.
4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the system interface further displays a list of tasks that the first business user must complete to comply with regulatory obligations related to the first business user's business operational data.

The system of claim 4 , wherein the taxonomy engine circuitry automatically generates the list of tasks by processing the regulatory compliance data to identify business requirements and analyzing the business operational data for the first business users to determine which business requirements are applicable to the first business user.
6 . The system of claim 4 , wherein the system interface further allows the user to track tasks and assign tasks to employees of the first business user.
7 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the system retrieves the regulatory compliance data from a third-party source, monitors the third-party source, and updates the stored regulatory compliance data when the third-party source updates the regulatory compliance data.
8 . The system of claim 7 , wherein the taxonomy engine circuitry automatically updates the identified subsets of the stored regulatory compliance data related to the business operation data for the first business user when the third-party source updates the regulatory compliance data.
9 . The system of claim 1 , information displayed on the summary dashboard is updated in real-time as the system identifies additional information related to the first business user's business operational data.
10 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the stored regulatory compliance data describes business requirements for complying with federal regulatory obligations.
11 . A computer-implemented method for viewing modularized data and taxonomy based classifications of regulatory obligations, comprising:
storing regulatory compliance data and business operation data for a plurality of businesses in a plurality of databases;
identifying, by one or more processors, subsets of the stored regulatory compliance data related to the business operation data for a first business user;
displaying a dashboard summary of regulatory compliance data related to the first business user's business operation data on an interface display,
where in the summary contains a plurality of a summary of regulations related to the first business user's business operation data, a summary of business requirements related to the first business user's business operation data, a summary of tasks to be completed in order to comply with one or more regulations.
12 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising displaying a series of a series of taxonomy questions, and receiving the first business user's to the series of taxonomy questions.
13 . The method of claim 12 , further comprising using the first business user's answers to the taxonomy questions to identify the subsets of the stored regulatory compliance data related to the business operation data for a first business user.
14 . The method claim 11 , further comprising displaying a list of tasks that the first business user must complete to comply with regulatory obligations related to the first business user's business operational data.
15 . The method of claim 14 , further comprising automatically generating the list of tasks by processing the regulatory compliance data to identify business requirements and analyzing the business operational data for the first business users to determine which business requirements are applicable to the first business user.
16 . The method of claim 14 , further comprising receiving an assignment from the first business user to assign tasks to employees of the first business user.
17 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising:
retrieving the regulatory compliance data from a third-party source,
monitoring the third-party source, and
updating the stored regulatory compliance data when the third-party source updates the regulatory compliance data.
18 . The method of claim 17 , further comprising automatically updating the identified subsets of the stored regulatory compliance data related to the business operation data for the first business user when the third-party source updates the regulatory compliance data.
19 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising updating the information displayed on the summary dashboard in real-time as the system identifies additional information related to the first business user's business operational data.
20 . A system for implementing an interface for viewing taxonomy based classifications of regulatory obligations, the system comprising a means for receiving regulatory compliance data;
a means for processing the regulatory compliance data to generated business requirements for complying with regulatory obligations;
a means for receiving a user's answers to taxonomy questions relating to the user's business and identifying a subset business requirements related to the user's business; and
a means for displaying a dashboard summary of the business requirements related to the user's business.
