control to gradually present the second portion of the piece of the content within the changed presentation of the one of the plurality of visual display elements while the other of the plurality of visual display elements is presented on the screen.

9. The electronic device of claim 8 , wherein the application associated with the one of the plurality of visual display elements comprises a news application.

10. The electronic device of claim 8 , wherein the first portion of the piece of the content comprises an image.

11. The electronic device of claim 8 , wherein the processor is configured to execute the instructions further to control to present a part of the first portion of the piece of the content within the changed presentation of the one of the plurality of visual display elements.

12. The electronic device of claim 8 , wherein the input comprises a first touch input followed by a second touch input, and

the processor is configured to execute the instructions further to, based on the first touch input at a location associated with the one of the plurality of visual display elements, control to present at least two user interface elements at respectively at least two corresponding corner portions of the one of the plurality of visual display elements.

13. The electronic device of claim 12 , wherein the first touch input comprises a touch and hold input.

14. The electronic device of claim 12 , wherein the processor is configured to execute the instructions further to, based on the second touch input at one of the at least two user interface elements, control to change the presentation of the one of the plurality of visual display elements.

15. A non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions executable by a processor of an electronic device to cause the processor to:

control to present a plurality of visual display elements on a screen of the electronic device, wherein the plurality of visual display elements are associated with a plurality of applications, one of the plurality of visual display elements provides first information representing an application associated with the one of the plurality of visual display elements, and presentations of the plurality of visual display elements presented on the screen are individually changeable;

based on an input at the one of the plurality of visual display elements, control to change the presentation of the one of the plurality of visual display elements and present a first portion of a piece of content within the changed presentation of the one of the plurality of visual display elements, wherein the first portion of the piece of the content is presented within the changed presentation of the one of the plurality of visual display elements while a second portion of the piece of the content is not displayed within the changed presentation of the one of the plurality of visual display elements and while another of the plurality of visual display elements is presented on the screen; and

control to gradually present the second portion of the piece of the content within the changed presentation of the one of the plurality of visual display elements while the other of the plurality of visual display elements is presented on the screen.
