Abstract

A mobile system is described that that produces and applies an ozonated liquid to clean and sanitize a variety of articles and surfaces. The mobile system includes an ozonated liquid dispensing unit that forms the ozonated liquid from water and ozone gas.

Claims (33)

1. A mobile system for producing and applying an ozonated liquid, comprising:

a tank for holding water;

an ozonated liquid dispensing unit, the ozonated liquid dispensing unit fluidly connected to the tank of water, the ozonated liquid dispensing unit comprising an ozone gas generator to generate ozone gas and an injector, wherein the injector injects the ozone gas from the ozone gas generator into the water supplied to the ozonated liquid dispensing unit from the tank to form ozonated liquid;

a reaction vessel fluidly connected to the ozonated liquid dispensing unit to receive the ozonated liquid from the ozonated liquid dispensing unit, the reaction vessel comprising a housing, the housing defining an interior, a first end comprising an entry port for the ozonated liquid, a second end comprising an exit port for the ozonated liquid, and a core positioned in the interior of the housing between the entry port and the exit port, and wherein the reaction vessel processes the ozonated liquid; and

an applicator in fluidic communication with the reaction vessel.

2. The mobile system according to claim 1 , wherein the mobile system connects to a source of electricity.

3. The mobile system according to claim 1 , the water is directed to a liquid input port of the ozonated liquid dispensing unit, and the ozonated liquid is dispensed from a fluid exit opening of the ozonated liquid dispensing unit.

4. The mobile system according to claim 1 , wherein the applicator sprays a mist of ozonated liquid.

5. The mobile system according to claim 1 , further comprising a pump to transfer water from the tank to the ozonated liquid dispensing unit.

6. The mobile system according to claim 1 , further comprising a pump, a first fluid line connects the tank and the pump, and a second fluid line connects the pump and the ozonated liquid dispensing unit, wherein the pump draws the water from the tank and directs the water to the ozonated liquid dispensing unit.

7. The mobile system according to claim 1 , wherein the applicator activates a pump.

8. The mobile system according to claim 7 , wherein the applicator includes a switch, and activation of the switch activates the pump to transfer the water from the tank via a fluid line to the ozonated liquid dispensing unit.

9. The mobile system according to claim 1 , wherein the mobile system is a floor cleaner.

10. The mobile system according to claim 1 , wherein the mobile system is a carpet cleaner.

11. The mobile system according to claim 1 , wherein the mobile system comprises a housing for the tank, the ozonated liquid dispensing unit, and the reaction vessel, wherein the housing comprises wheels, casters, or rollers to provide mobility.

12. The mobile system according to claim 1 , wherein the mobile system comprises an oxygen concentrator that prepares a supply of feed oxygen gas from ambient air, and the feed oxygen gas is supplied to the ozonated liquid dispensing unit.

13. The mobile system according to claim 1 , wherein the applicator is a spray wand.

14. The mobile system according to claim 1 , further comprising a first dielectric cell for producing ozone gas; and a second dielectric cell for producing ozone gas, the first dielectric cell in supply communication with the second dielectric cell for supplying the second dielectric cell with a supply gas comprising the ozone gas, and the second dielectric cell produces ozone gas from the supply gas.

15. The mobile system according to claim 1 , wherein an annular fluid passage is between the core and an inner surface of the housing of the reaction vessel, and wherein the annular fluid passage fluidly connects the entry port and the exit port with the interior.

16. The mobile system according to claim 1 , wherein the core is positioned generally centrally in the housing of the reaction vessel, and the core is positioned generally vertically aligned with respect to a length of the housing of the reaction vessel.

17. The mobile system according to claim 1 , wherein the core includes a plurality of ridges or steps.

18. A mobile system for producing and applying an ozonated liquid, comprising:

a tank for holding water;

an ozonated liquid dispensing unit, the ozonated liquid dispensing unit fluidly connected to the tank of water, the ozonated liquid dispensing unit comprising an ozone gas generator to generate ozone gas, and an injector, wherein the injector injects the ozone gas from the ozone gas generator into the water supplied to the ozonated liquid dispensing unit from the tank to form ozonated liquid;

a reaction vessel, the reaction vessel comprising a housing, the housing defining an interior, a first end of the housing comprising an entry port for the ozonated liquid, a second end of the housing comprising an exit port for the ozonated liquid, and a conical member positioned in the interior of the housing between the entry port and the exit port; and

an applicator in fluidic communication with the reaction vessel.

19. The mobile system according to claim 18 , wherein the mobile system is a carpet cleaner or a floor cleaner.

20. A mobile system for producing and applying an ozonated liquid, comprising:

a tank for holding water;

an ozonated liquid dispensing unit, the ozonated liquid dispensing unit connected to the tank of water, the ozonated liquid dispensing unit comprising an ozone gas generator to generate ozone gas, an injector, and and an injector, wherein the injector injects the ozone gas from the ozone gas generator into the water supplied to the ozonated liquid dispensing unit from the tank to form ozonated liquid;

a reaction vessel, the reaction vessel comprising a housing, the housing having a generally cylindrical shape, the housing defining an interior, the housing comprising a first end comprising an entry port for the ozonated liquid, a second end comprising an exit port for the ozonated liquid, a contact member is positioned in the interior of the housing between the entry port and the exit port to further mix the ozonated liquid, and an annular fluid passage is between the contact member and an inner surface of the housing, wherein the annular fluid passage fluidly connects the entry port and the exit port with the interior of the housing; and

an applicator in fluidic communication with the reaction vessel.

21. The mobile system according to claim 20 , wherein the mobile system is a carpet cleaner or a floor cleaner.
