Abstract

Providing mobile electric power comprising a power generation transport configured to convert hydrocarbon fuel to electricity and an inlet and exhaust transport configured to: couple to at least one side of the power generation transport such that the inlet and exhaust transport is not connected to a top side of the power generation transport, provide ventilation air and combustion air to the power generation transport, collect exhaust air from the power generation transport, and filter the exhaust air.

5. The system of claim 3 , wherein the exhaust stack is positioned on the inlet and exhaust transport in a transportation mode such that a longitudinal direction of the exhaust stack aligns with a longitudinal direction of the inlet and exhaust transport, wherein the exhaust stack is adapted to be lifted to an upright position on the inlet and exhaust transport in the operational mode such that the longitudinal direction of the exhaust stack is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the inlet and exhaust transport, and wherein the exhaust stack is aligned with an exhaust end connector on the inlet and exhaust transport when lifted to the upright position.

6. The system of claim 3 , further comprising an auxiliary gas turbine generator transport that is independently movable relative to the gas turbine generator transport and the inlet and exhaust transport.

7. The system of claim 3 , wherein the inlet plenum collects air flow directed into the gas turbine generator transport from the air inlet filter housing when both the gas turbine generator transport and the inlet and exhaust transport are coupled to each other in the operational mode.

8. The system of claim 3 , wherein the exhaust collector moves exhaust air out of the gas turbine generator transport to the exhaust stack when both the gas turbine generator transport and the inlet and exhaust transport are coupled to each other in the operational mode.

9. The system of claim 3 , wherein the gas turbine generator transport and the inlet and exhaust transport are both configured to be positioned side-by-side by positioning both the gas turbine generator transport and the inlet and exhaust transport to be parallel to each other along a length of the gas turbine generator transport.

10. The system of claim 3 , wherein the gas turbine generator transport further comprises a generator breaker and a control system that, during operation, communicates with a control center via a network.

11. The system of claim 3 , wherein the inlet and exhaust transport further comprises one or more expansion joints, adapted to:

connect the gas turbine generator transport and the inlet and exhaust transport in the operational mode without being supported by a mechanical apparatus external to the gas turbine generator transport and the inlet and exhaust transport; and
