Methods of treating inflammation or neuropathic pain
Provided herein are methods of treating inflammation or neuropathic pain using an effective dose of a monoacylglycerol lipase inhibitor or a composition thereof.
1. A method of treating Tourette Syndrome in a patient in need thereof, comprising administering to the patient in need thereof an effective dose of 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoropropan-2-yl 4-(2-(pyrrolidin-1-yl)-4-(trifluoromethyl)benzyl)piperazine-1-carboxylate (Compound 1), or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the effective dose is from about 1 mg to about 100 mg.
3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the steady state plasma AUC 0-24 of Compound 1 is at least 0.05 μM·hr after administration of the effective dose.
4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the effective dose is from about 1 mg to about 50 mg.
5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the effective dose is from about 2 mg to about 25 mg.
6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the effective dose is from about 1 mg to about 15 mg.
7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the effective dose is from about 10 mg to about 25 mg.
8. The method of claim 1 , wherein Compound 1 is administered orally.
9. The method of claim 1 , wherein the effective dose is administered to the patient once per day.
10. The method of claim 1 , wherein the effective dose is administered to the patient twice per day.
