SYSTEM UTILIZING COMPRESSED SMOKEABLE PRODUCT
The invention includes a smokeable product formed by compressing starting smokeable material by at least 20%, and forming it into a log shape. Smokeable material can have a longitudinally extending opening extending from one end partially to the opposed end, and/or can have external grooves on the outer surface.
1 . A smokeable product comprising smokeable material compressed by at least 20% measured by the density test, the smokeable product comprising an elongated cylinder having opposed first and second ends and an outer surface, a length of from about 4 to about 80 millimeters and a diameter of from about 10 to about 15 millimeters, the cylinder having a longitudinally extending opening providing an inner surface, wherein the longitudinally extending opening is from the second end only partially toward the first end.
2 . The smokeable product of claim 1 , wherein the opening has a diameter of from about 3 to about 15 millimeters.
3 . The smokeable product of claim 1 , wherein the opening is at least 4 millimeters from the first end.
4 . The smokeable product of claim 1 , wherein the cylinder is circular in vertical cross-section.
5 . The smokeable product of claim 1 , wherein the cylinder is polygonal in vertical cross-section.
6 . The smokeable product of claim 1 , further comprising one or more grooves on the outer surface.
7 . The smokeable product of claim 1 , further comprising one or more indicia on the outer surface.
8 . The smokeable product of claim 7 , wherein the indicia is notches.
9 . A smokeable product comprising smokeable material compressed by at least 20% measured by the density test, the smokeable product comprising an elongated cylinder having opposed first and second ends, an external surface, a length of from about 4 to about 80 mm, and a diameter of from about 4 to about 20 mm, the compressed smokeable product having at least one groove on the external surface.
10 . The product of claim 9 comprising multiple grooves on the external surface.
11 . The product of claim 9 wherein the groove depth is from about 1 millimeter to about 6 millimeters.
12 . The smokeable product of claim 9 , further comprising one or more indicium on the outer surface.
13 . The smokeable product of claim 12 , wherein the indicia are notches.
14 . The smokeable product of claim 9 , wherein the cylinder has a longitudinally extending opening providing an inner surface, wherein the longitudinally extending opening is from the second end only partially toward the first end.
15 . The smokeable product of claim 9 , wherein the groove extends from the first end to the second end.
16 . A smokeable product comprising smokeable material compressed by at least 20% measured by the density test, the smokeable product comprising the form of an elongated cylinder having opposed first and second ends, an external surface, a length of from about 4 to about 80 mm, and a diameter of from about 4 to about 15 mm, the cylinder having at least one indicium on the external surface.
17 . The smokeable product of claim 16 , comprising indicia, the indicia being notches.
18 . A kit for smoking comprising:
a) a container; and
b) a plurality of smokeable products in the container, each smokeable product comprising smokeable material compressed by at least 20% measured by the density test and in the form of an elongated cylinder, each product being substantially the same size.
19 . The kit of claim 18 wherein the smokeable product has a THC content of from about 5 to about 50% by weight.
20 . The kit of claim 18 further comprising a label on the container, the label containing dosage information.
