Systems and methods for lighting control
Lighting units, systems, and methods are described herein for determining whether occupancy detections are legitimate or not. Methods and systems are further described herein for powering down a network of power over ethernet (PoE) components.
1. A system for managing environmental conditions, the system comprising:
a commissioned unit configured to:
receive one or more signals comprising an environmental control request from a controller in communication with the commissioned unit, said environmental control request having a first priority level;
determine whether the commissioned unit in communication with the controller is enabled to carry out the environmental control request;
determine whether there is a competing environmental control request having a second priority level;
compare the first priority level and the second priority level;
adjust, if the first priority level is higher than the second priority level, an environmental condition based on the environmental control request; and,
adjust, if the second priority level is higher than the first priority level, the environmental condition based on the competing environmental control request,
wherein the commissioned unit is further configured to ignore the received environmental control request when the second priority level is higher than the first priority level and to adjust the environmental condition based on the ignored received environmental control request after an amount of time has elapsed.
2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the environmental condition comprises light level, temperature, or humidity.
3. The system of claim 1 , wherein the commissioned unit is further configured to adjust the environmental condition based on the competing environmental control request after the elapsed amount of time and within a retention period.
4. The system of claim 1 , wherein the environmental control request comprises a request by a user to change an environmental condition.
5. The system of claim 1 , wherein the environmental control request is generated based on a detected change in occupancy within a physical structure.
6. The system of claim 1 , wherein the environmental control request is generated based on a detected change in daylight within a physical structure.
7. The system of claim 1 , wherein the competing environmental control request comprises a request by a user.
8. The system of claim 1 , wherein the commissioned unit is further configured to be controlled manually by a user.
