Antibacterial compounds
The present invention relates to the following compounds wherein the integers are as defined in the description, and where the compounds may be useful as medicaments, for instance for use in the treatment of tuberculosis.
1. A compound of formula (I)
wherein
R 1 is CH;
L 1 is —CH 2 —;
X 1 is phenylene;
X a is —CH—
q 1 , q 2 , q 3 and q 4 are each —CH 2 —;
X b is a nitrogen atom;
L 2 is S(O) 2 —C 1-6 alkyl optionally substituted by one or more fluoro atoms;
Ring A and Ring B is:
wherein SUB is halo, C 1-3 alkyl or OC 1-3 alkyl,
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
2. The compound of claim 1 wherein L 2 is —SO 2 CF 3 .
3. The compound of claim 2 that is 6-chloro-2-ethyl-N-({4-[2-(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)-2-azaspiro[3.3]heptan-6-yl]phenyl}methyl)imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine-3-carboxamide.
4. A pharmaceutical composition comprising (i) a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of claim 1 , and (ii) a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
