Abstract

A method for collection and dissemination of biologic data, comprising collecting at least one biologic sample by a testing device including thereon an alignment target and including a plurality of immunoassay test strips, wherein the at least one biologic sample contacts a sample pad on at least one of the plurality of immunoassay test strips, assigning correlative values as test results, wherein each test performed on the biologic sample is assigned a different correlative value, receiving the test results at a server disposed on a network, wherein the server has configured thereon a database, assigning a unique identification to the biologic sample, storing the unique identification in the database, storing the test results in the database in association with the unique identification of the biologic sample, and providing access to the database to healthcare organizations for analysis of the test results.

Claims (22)

1. A system for collection and dissemination of biologic data, comprising:

a plurality of testing devices configured to collect at least one biologic sample, the plurality of testing devices including one or more immunoassay test strips, wherein the at least one biologic sample contacts a sample pad on at least one of the one or more immunoassay test strips and flows through the one or more immunoassay test strips;

a database for storing information relating to the at least one biologic sample that flows through the one or more immunoassay test strips, the database including a table for storing the information relating to the at least one biologic sample, the table including a storage location for a unique identifier associated with the at least one biologic sample, a type of the at least one biologic sample, and at least one test result and correlative values associated with the at least one biologic sample;

a server remote from the plurality of testing devices and disposed on a network and associated with the database, wherein the server is configured to:

receive testing device information and a plurality of captured images of the plurality of testing devices from a plurality of mobile device,

determine a plurality of test results from each of the plurality of captured images,

assign a correlative value based on each of the plurality of test results, wherein each test performed on the biologic sample is assigned a different correlative value,

assign a unique identification to the biologic sample associated with each of the plurality of test results, wherein the unique identification identifies at least a type of the biologic sample,

store the unique identification in the table within the database associated with the server,

store in the table within the database a type of biologic sample, the test results and the correlative values in association with the unique identification of the biologic sample from which the test results and correlative values were determined,

perform a comparison of a first correlative value associated with a first unique identification of a first biologic sample with a plurality of other correlative values of the plurality of test results associated with a plurality of other unique identifications of a plurality of other biologic samples stored in the database,

provide, based on the comparison, a results indicator to a mobile device, wherein the results indicator includes:

one or more qualitative results, wherein each of the one or more qualitative results are for a different tested medical condition, and

one or more quantitative results, wherein each of the one or more quantitative results are for separately tested medical conditions different from the different tested medical condition associated with each of the one or more qualitative results, and

provide access to the database to healthcare organizations for analysis of the test results.

2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of testing devices is further configured to bind antigens or antibodies of an immune complex to antigens or antibodies included on a control line of a membrane strip of the plurality of testing devices.

3. The system of claim 2 , wherein the control line serves as a control.

4. The system of claim 3 , wherein the control is a dataset from previously conducted tests stored on the database and accessed by a software application.

5. The system of claim 1 , wherein at least one of the one or more quantitative results is a reaction rating.

6. The system of claim 1 , wherein a test line of at least one of the one or more immunoassay test strips includes an antibody suitable for binding with hCG.

7. The system of claim 1 , wherein a test line of at least one of the one or more immunoassay test strips includes Zika virus antigen.

8. The system of claim 1 , wherein a test line of one of the one or more immunoassay test strips includes Zika virus antigen and the test line of another one of the one or more immunoassay test strips includes an antibody suitable for binding with hCG.
