Abstract

A communication system includes a terminal apparatus and a base station apparatus. The terminal apparatus communicates with a base station apparatus by carrier aggregation using a plurality of serving cells, where each of the plurality of serving cells has a different frequency. In addition, the terminal apparatus removes a measurement identity relevant to a serving cell of the plurality of serving cells based on that the serving cell was removed.

Claims (62)

1. A terminal apparatus comprises a wireless circuit and a radio resource control circuit, the terminal apparatus communicating with a base station apparatus by carrier aggregation using a plurality of serving cells, each of the plurality of serving cells having a different frequency, wherein

the wireless circuit is configured to and/or programmed to:

receive, from the base station apparatus, a configuration message including a measurement configuration, wherein

the measurement configuration includes a measurement object and a reporting configuration,

the measurement object and the reporting configuration are linked by a measurement identity,

the measurement object indicates a measurement frequency,

the reporting configuration includes a criterion related to event triggered reporting of measurements,

the event triggered reporting is triggered based on evaluation of the criteria relating to an event, and

the event is related to a serving cell of the plurality of serving cells; and

the radio resource control circuit is configured to and/or programmed to:

delete, in response to a removal of the serving cell of the plurality of serving cells, the measurement identity relevant to the removed serving cell.

2. A base station apparatus comprises a wireless circuit and a radio resource control circuit, the base station apparatus communicating with a terminal apparatus by carrier aggregation using a plurality of serving cells, each of the plurality of serving cells having a different frequency, wherein

the wireless circuit is configured to and/or programmed to:

transmit, to the terminal apparatus, a configuration message including a measurement configuration, wherein

the measurement configuration includes a measurement object and a reporting configuration,

the measurement object and the reporting configuration are linked by a measurement identity,

the measurement object indicates a measurement frequency, and

the reporting configuration includes a criterion related to event triggered reporting of measurements,

the event triggered reporting is triggered based on evaluation of the criteria relating to an event, and

the event is related to a serving cell of the plurality of serving cells; and

the radio resource control circuit is configured to and/or programmed to:

delete, in response to a removal of the serving cell of the plurality of serving cells, the measurement identity relevant to the removed serving cell.

3. A method of a terminal apparatus, the terminal apparatus communicating with a base station apparatus by carrier aggregation using a plurality of serving cells, each of the plurality of serving cells having a different frequency, wherein

the method comprises the steps of:

receiving, from the base station apparatus, a configuration message including a measurement configuration, wherein

the measurement configuration includes a measurement object and a reporting configuration,

the measurement object and the reporting configuration are linked by a measurement identity,

the measurement object indicates a measurement frequency, and

the reporting configuration includes a criterion related to event triggered reporting of measurements,

the event triggered reporting is triggered based on evaluation of the criteria relating to an event, and

the event is related to a serving cell of the plurality of serving cells; and

deleting, in response to a removal of the serving cell of the plurality of serving cells, the measurement identity relevant to the removed serving cell.

4. A method of a base station apparatus, the base station apparatus communicating with a terminal apparatus by carrier aggregation using a plurality of serving cells, each of the plurality of serving cells having a different frequency, wherein

the method comprises the steps of:

transmitting, to the terminal apparatus, a configuration message including a measurement configuration, wherein

the measurement configuration includes a measurement object and a reporting configuration,

the measurement object and the reporting configuration are linked by a measurement identity,

the measurement object indicates a measurement frequency, and

the reporting configuration includes a criterion related to event triggered reporting of measurements,

the event triggered reporting is triggered based on evaluation of the criteria relating to an event, and

the event is related to a serving cell of the plurality of serving cells; and

deleting, in response to a removal of the serving cell of the plurality of serving cells, the measurement identity relevant to the removed serving cell.

5. A processing device mounted in a terminal apparatus, the terminal apparatus communicating with a base station apparatus by carrier aggregation using a plurality of serving cells, each of the plurality of serving cells having a different frequency, wherein

the processing device comprises circuitries arranged to perform the steps of:

receiving, from the base station apparatus, a configuration message including a measurement configuration, wherein

the measurement configuration includes a measurement object and a reporting configuration,

the measurement object and the reporting configuration are linked by a measurement identity,

the measurement object indicates a measurement frequency, and

the reporting configuration includes a criterion related to event triggered reporting of measurements,

the event triggered reporting is triggered based on evaluation of the criteria relating to an event, and

the event is related to a serving cell of the plurality of serving cells; and

deleting, in response to a removal of the serving cell of the plurality of serving cells, the measurement identity relevant to the removed serving cell.

6. A processing device mounted in a base station apparatus, the base station apparatus communicating with a terminal apparatus by carrier aggregation using a plurality of serving cells, each of the plurality of serving cells having a different frequency, wherein;

the processing device comprises circuitries arranged to perform the steps:

transmitting, to the terminal apparatus, a configuration message including a measurement configuration, wherein

the measurement configuration includes a measurement object and reporting configuration,

the measurement object and the reporting configuration are linked by a measurement identity,

the measurement object indicates a measurement frequency, and

the reporting configuration includes a criterion related to event triggered reporting of measurements,

the event triggered reporting is triggered based on evaluation of the criteria relating to an event, and

the event is related to a serving cell of the plurality of serving cells: and

deleting, in response to a removal of the serving cell of the plurality of serving cells the measurement identity relevant to the removed serving cell.
