Abstract

An image processing device may include a control unit. The control unit may be operable, in a first mode, to control display on a display screen of a representative image of a group of images and, in a second mode, to control display on the display screen of an image of the group of images corresponding to a posture of the device. In addition, the control unit may be operable to switch between operation in the first mode and the second mode.

Claims (80)

1. An image processing device comprising:

a display;

a gyro sensor; and

circuitry configured to:

switch between a first display mode in which one of a plurality of representative images is displayed on the display and a second display mode in which a selected view from different views all of which correspond to a single representative image selected from the plurality of representative images is displayed on the display;

control to change the view on the display according to an output of the gyro sensor in the second display mode; and

control to change each representative image displayed on the display not in accordance with the output of the gyro sensor in the first display mode.

2. The image processing device according to claim 1 ,

wherein, in the first display mode, manipulation support information is displayed when a first representative image of the plurality of representative images displayed on the display corresponds to a plurality of views and the manipulation support information is not displayed when the first representative image displayed on the display corresponds to a single view.

3. The image processing device according to claim 1 ,

wherein the circuitry is configured to, when the different views are of a multi-view image, change from display of a first view of the different views to display of a second view of the different views on the display according to horizontal movement of the image processing apparatus in the second display mode.

4. The image processing device according to claim 1 ,

wherein each image of the plurality of representative images is associated with information for identifying whether the each image belongs to grouped image content.

5. The image processing device according to claim 1 ,

wherein each image of the plurality of representative images is associated with information for identifying an image group to which the each image belongs.

6. The image processing device according to claim 1 ,

wherein the view on the display in the second display mode is changed according to movement information associated with image display switching.

7. The image processing device according to claim 1 ,

wherein the view on the display in the second display mode is changed when movement of the image processing device by a movement distance is determined based on the output of the gyro sensor.

8. The image processing device according to claim 1 ,

wherein the circuitry is configured to control switching display of the different views on the display in the second display mode according to a total movement range allowed for movement of the image processing device by user manipulation and a total number of the different views.

9. The image processing device according to claim 1 ,

wherein the circuitry is configured to control a zoom operation on a first image displayed on the display according to the output of the gyro sensor.

10. The image processing device according to claim 1 ,

wherein the image processing device is a mobile phone.

11. An image processing device comprising:

a display;

an acceleration sensor; and

circuitry configured to:

switch between a first display mode in which one of a plurality of representative images is displayed on the display and a second display mode in which a selected view from different views all of which correspond to a single representative image selected from the plurality of representative images is displayed on the display;

control to change the view on the display according to an output of the acceleration sensor in the second display mode; and

control to change each representative image displayed on the display not in accordance with the output of the acceleration sensor in the first display mode.

12. The image processing device according to claim 11 ,

wherein, in the first display mode, manipulation support information is displayed when a first representative image of the plurality of representative images displayed on the display corresponds to a plurality of views and the manipulation support information is not displayed when the first representative image displayed on the display corresponds to a single view.

13. The image processing device according to claim 11 ,

wherein the circuitry is configured to, when the different views are of a multi-view image, change from display of a first view of the different views to display of a second view of the different views on the display according to horizontal movement of the image processing apparatus in the second display mode.

14. The image processing device according to claim 11 ,

wherein each image of the plurality of representative images is associated with information for identifying whether the each image belongs to grouped image content.

15. The image processing device according to claim 11 ,

wherein each image of the plurality of representative images is associated with information for identifying an image group to which the each image belongs.

16. The image processing device according to claim 11 ,

wherein the view on the display in the second display mode is changed according to movement information associated with image display switching.

17. The image processing device according to claim 11 ,

wherein the view on the display in the second display mode is changed when movement of the image processing device by a movement distance is determined based on the output of the acceleration sensor.

18. The image processing device according to claim 11 ,

wherein the circuitry is configured to control switching display of the different views on the display in the second display mode according to a total movement range allowed for movement of the image processing device by user manipulation and a total number of the different views.

19. The image processing device according to claim 11 ,

wherein the circuitry is configured to control a zoom operation on a first image displayed on the display according to the output of the acceleration sensor.

20. The image processing device according to claim 11 ,

wherein the image processing device is a mobile phone.

21. An image processing device comprising:

a display;

a gyro sensor; and

circuitry configured to:

switch a first display mode in which one of a plurality of representative images is displayed on the display to a second display mode in which a selected view from different views all of which correspond to a single representative image selected from the plurality of representative images is displayed on the display, in a case where manipulation support information which is displayed on the display with the one of the plurality of representative images during the first display mode is operated by a user;

control to change the view on the display according to an output of the gyro sensor in the second display mode; and

control to change each representative image displayed on the display not in accordance with the output of the gyro sensor in the first display mode.

22. The image processing device according to claim 21 ,

wherein the manipulation support information is displayed when the one of the plurality of representative images displayed on the display corresponds to a plurality of views and the manipulation support information is not displayed when a given representative image of the plurality of representative images displayed on the display during the first display mode corresponds to a single view.

23. The image processing device according to claim 21 ,

wherein the circuitry is configured to, when the different views are of a multi-view image, change from display of a first view of the different views to display of a second view of the different views on the display according to horizontal movement of the image processing apparatus in the second display mode.

24. The image processing device according to claim 21 ,

wherein each image of the plurality of representative images is associated with information for identifying whether the each image belongs to grouped image content.

25. The image processing device according to claim 21 ,

wherein each image of the plurality of representative images is associated with information for identifying an image group to which the each image belongs.

26. The image processing device according to claim 21 ,

wherein the view on the display in the second display mode is changed according to movement information associated with image display switching.

27. The image processing device according to claim 21 ,

wherein the view on the display in the second display mode is changed when movement of the image processing device by a movement distance is determined based on the output of the gyro sensor.

28. The image processing device according to claim 21 ,

wherein the circuitry is configured to control switching display of the different views on the display in the second display mode according to a total movement range allowed for movement of the image processing device by user manipulation and a total number of the different views.

29. The image processing device according to claim 21 ,

wherein the circuitry is configured to control a zoom operation on a first image displayed on the display according to the output of the gyro sensor.

30. An image processing device comprising:

a display;

an acceleration sensor; and

circuitry configured to:

switch a first display mode in which one of a plurality of representative images is displayed on the display to a second display mode in which a selected view from different views all of which correspond to a single representative image selected from the plurality of representative images is displayed on the display, in a case where manipulation support information which is displayed on the display with the one of the plurality of representative images during the first display mode is operated by a user;

control to change the view on the display according to an output of the acceleration sensor in the second display mode; and

control to change each representative image displayed on the display not in accordance with the output of the acceleration sensor in the first display mode.
