Abstract

A color conversion element includes a base substrate, and a first color filter layer, a second color conversion layer, and a third color conversion layer disposed on the base substrate, wherein the first color filter layer, the second color conversion layer, and the third color conversion layer are sequentially arranged on a plane, and wherein an interval between the first color filter layer and the second color conversion layer or an interval between the first color filter layer and the third color conversion layer is different from an interval between the second color conversion layer and the third color conversion layer.

Claims (26)

1. A color conversion element, comprising:

a base substrate; and

a first color filter layer, a second color conversion layer, and a third color conversion layer disposed on the base substrate,

wherein the first color filter layer, the second color conversion layer, and the third color conversion layer are sequentially arranged on a plane,

wherein an interval between the first color filter layer and the second color conversion layer or an interval between the first color filter layer and the third color conversion layer is different from an interval between the second color conversion layer and the third color conversion layer, and

wherein the first color filter layer, the second color conversion layer, and the third color conversion layer correspond to regions emitting first, second, and third colors, respectively, the first, second, and third colors being blue, green, and red colors, respectively.

2. The color conversion element as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the first color filter layer includes a scattering agent.

3. The color conversion element as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the first color filter layer includes at least one of a pigment having a first color and a dye having the first color.

4. A color conversion element, comprising:

a base substrate; and

a first color filter layer, a second color conversion layer, and a third color conversion layer disposed on the base substrate,

wherein the first color filter layer, the second color conversion layer, and the third color conversion layer are sequentially arranged on a plane,

wherein an interval between the first color filter layer and the second color conversion layer or an interval between the first color filter layer and the third color conversion layer is different from an interval between the second color conversion layer and the third color conversion layer, and

wherein the second color conversion layer and/or the third color conversion layer includes:

a first color cutting layer; and

a color conversion medium layer on the first color cutting layer.

5. The color conversion element as claimed in claim 4 , wherein the color conversion medium layer includes a quantum dot.

6. The color conversion element as claimed in claim 1 , wherein an area size of the first color filter layer overlapping the base substrate is different from an area size of the second color conversion layer or the third color conversion layer overlapping the base substrate.

7. The color conversion element as claimed in claim 1 , wherein an area size of the first color filter layer contacting the base substrate is different from an area size of the second color conversion layer or the third color conversion layer contacting the base substrate.

8. A color conversion element, comprising:

a base substrate; and

a first color filter layer, a second color conversion layer, and a third color conversion layer disposed on the base substrate,

wherein the first color filter layer, the second color conversion layer, and the third color conversion layer are sequentially arranged on a plane,

wherein an interval between the first color filter layer and the second color conversion layer or an interval between the first color filter layer and the third color conversion layer is different from an interval between the second color conversion layer and the third color conversion layer, and

wherein a part of the first color filter layer is on the second color conversion layer to overlap a part of the second color conversion layer.

9. The color conversion element as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising a light blocking member among the first color filter layer, the second color conversion layer, and the third color conversion layer.
