Image processing apparatus and non-transitory computer readable medium for document processing

1. An image processing apparatus comprising:

a camera configured to capture an image of a face of a person;

an image reading unit configured to read a document and to output a document image comprising a description area; and

a controller configured to store a format information, wherein the format information comprises a predetermined size and a predetermined string format, the controller further configured to

determine a plurality of characters in the description area of the document image and a size of the document image,

determine whether the size of the document image matches the predetermined size and a format of the plurality of characters in the description area of the document image matches the predetermined string format,

collate the image of the face captured by the camera with a face image extracted from the document image, and

perform control to permit certain processing on the document image when the size of the document image matches the predetermined size, the format of the plurality of characters in the description area of the document image matches the predetermined string format, and the image of the face captured by the camera matches the face image extracted from the document.

2. The image processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the controller is configured to perform control to prohibit execution of the certain processing on the document image if no face image is extracted from the document image.

3. The image processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the controller issues a notification to an operator if the document image includes no personal information.

4. The image processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein, in a case where the document image includes personal information and the face image, when the image of the face captured by the camera and the face image included in the document match, the controller performs control to permit certain processing on the document image.

5. The image processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the controller performs control to prohibit execution of the certain processing on the document image when the image of the face captured by the camera and the face image extracted from the document do not match.

6. The image processing apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising:

a recording unit configured to record the image of the face captured by the camera as an item of log information regarding execution of the certain processing if the certain processing is permitted.

7. A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program causing a computer to execute a process, the process comprising:

capturing an image of a face of a person;

reading a document and outputting a document image comprising a description area;

storing a format information, wherein the format information comprises a predetermined size and a predetermined string format;

determining a plurality of characters in the description area of the document image and a size of the document image;

determining whether the size of the document image matches the predetermined size and a format of the plurality of characters in the description area of the document image matches the predetermined string format;

collating the captured image of the face with a face image extracted from the document image; and

performing control to permit certain processing on the document image when the size of the document image matches the predetermined size, the format of the plurality of characters in the description area of the document image matches the predetermined string format, and the captured image of the face matches the face image extracted from the document.
