Abstract

A cabin fixture comprising a pedestal having a cutout and an axle having a portion disposed within the cutout. The axle is configured to translate within the cutout. A rotating member is coupled to the axle. A first boss is coupled to the rotating member. A plate is proximate the rotating member and has a first interference surface. An interference between the first boss and the first interference surface tends to limit the rotation of the rotating member with respect to the plate.

Claims (13)

1. A cabin fixture, comprising:

a pedestal having a cutout;

an axle having a portion disposed within the cutout, wherein the axle is configured to translate within the cutout;

a rotating member coupled to the axle;

a first boss coupled to the rotating member; and

a plate proximate the rotating member and having a first interference surface, wherein an interference between the first boss and the first interference surface tends to limit the rotation of the rotating member with respect to the plate.

2. The cabin fixture of claim 1 , further comprising a rail, wherein the plate is configured to translate along the rail.

3. The cabin fixture of claim 2 , wherein the plate translates in response to a translation of the axle.

4. The cabin fixture of claim 1 , wherein the plate comprises an aperture.

5. The cabin fixture of claim 4 , wherein the axle is disposed within the aperture.

6. The cabin fixture of claim 1 , wherein the pedestal comprises a friction surface.

7. The cabin fixture of claim 1 , wherein the rotating member comprises a disk.

8. The cabin fixture of claim 1 , wherein the plate comprises a rigid structural material.
