Abstract

Disclosed is a battery module, which includes: a battery cell assembly having at least one battery cell; a module case configured to accommodate the battery cell assembly; and at least one injection hole provided in a bottom portion of the module case to inject a thermally conductive adhesive into the module case.

Claims (22)

1. A battery module, comprising:

a battery cell assembly having at least one battery cell;

a module case configured to accommodate the battery cell assembly, wherein convex portions and concave portions are formed alternately at an inner surface of a bottom portion of the module case;

a thermally conductive adhesive disposed within the module case; and

at least one injection hole provided at the convex portions of the bottom portion of the module case such that the at least one injection hole is formed at a thickest region of the bottom portion of the module case, wherein the at least one injection hole is configured to inject the thermally conductive adhesive into the module case.

2. The battery module according to claim 1 ,

wherein the at least one injection hole includes a plurality of injection holes spaced apart from each other by a predetermined distance at the bottom portion of the module case.

3. The battery module according to claim 2 ,

wherein the convex portions and the concave portions have a rounded shape.

4. The battery module according to claim 2 ,

wherein the plurality of injection holes have an inclined chamfer portion at one side thereof.

5. The battery module according to claim 2 ,

wherein the plurality of injection holes have different spacing distances in an outer direction from the center of the bottom portion of the module case.

6. The battery module according to claim 2 ,

wherein the plurality of injection holes are provided at a middle region of the bottom portion of the module case.

7. The battery module according to claim 2 ,

wherein the plurality of injection holes are provided at one side rim region of the bottom portion of the module case.

8. A battery pack, comprising:

at least one battery module defined in claim 1 ; and

a pack case configured to package the at least one battery module.

9. A vehicle, comprising:

at least one battery pack defined in claim 8 .
