COOLING APPARATUS FOR CARBONIZED BIOMASS
An apparatus including a carbonizing furnace for obtaining a carbonized biomass by carbonizing a molded biomass and classification means disposed at the downstream side of the carbonizing furnace for classifying the carbonized biomass, and cooling means disposed at the downstream side of the classification means for cooling the classified carbonized biomass. The molded biomass is obtained by molding pulverized raw biomass and the cooling means cools the carbonized biomass by spraying water.
1 . A cooling apparatus for carbonized biomass, comprising:
a carbonizing furnace for obtaining carbonized biomass by carbonizing molded biomass,
a classification section, disposed at downstream side of the carbonizing furnace, for classifying the carbonized biomass, and
a cooler, disposed at downstream side of the classification section, for cooling the classified carbonized biomass,
wherein the molded biomass is obtained by molding pulverized raw biomass, and
the cooler cools the carbonized biomass by spraying water thereon.
2 . The cooling apparatus for carbonized biomass according to claim 1 , wherein
the cooler comprises a vibration flat plate and a spraying section for spraying water on the flat plate,
wherein the flat plate is a metal plate or a resin plate, and the carbonized biomass is transported by vibration.
3 . The cooling apparatus for carbonized biomass according to claim 2 , further comprising
a thermometer for measuring temperature at an outlet of the carbonizing furnace, and
a controller for stopping the spraying section if temperature measured by the thermometer is a predetermined value or lower.
4 . The cooling apparatus for carbonized biomass according to claim 3 , wherein the thermometer can directly measure temperature of the carbonized biomass.
5 . The cooling apparatus for carbonized biomass according to claim 1 , further comprising a separating section for separating the classification section and the cooler.
