Abstract
Disclosed herein, in certain embodiments, are compounds, methods, tools, and abrasive materials comprising mixed transition metal dodecaborides.
Claims (7)
1. A composite matrix comprising Zr 1-x Y x B 12 wherein x is from 0.001 to 0.999.
2. A composite matrix comprising Zr 1-x Sc x B 12 wherein x is from 0.001 to 0.999.
3. A composite matrix comprising Y 1-x Sc x B 12 wherein x is from 0.001 to 0.999.
4. A composite matrix comprising Zr 1-x Gd x B 12 wherein x is from 0.001 to 0.999.
5. A composite matrix comprising Zr 1-x Sm x B 12 wherein x is from 0.001 to 0.999.
6. A composite matrix comprising Zr 1-x Nd x B 12 wherein x is from 0.001 to 0.999.
7. A composite matrix comprising Zr 1-x Pr x B 12 wherein x is from 0.001 to 0.999.
