ANALYTE SENSOR
The present invention relates generally to systems and methods for measuring an analyte in a host. More particularly, the present invention relates to systems and methods for transcutaneous measurement of glucose in a host.
1 - 18 . (canceled)
19 . A transcutaneous analyte sensor system, the system comprising:
an analyte sensor configured for transcutaneous insertion through skin of a host;
an on-skin device coupled to the sensor and comprising sensor electronics configured to process data obtained from the analyte sensor; and
a display device remote from the on-skin device configured to request information from the on-skin device.
20 . The system of claim 19 , wherein the on-skin device is configured to provide sensor information indicative of a glucose value of the host.
21 . The system of claim 19 , wherein the on-skin device is configured to provide filtered sensor data.
22 . The system of claim 19 , wherein the on-skin device is configured to provide calibrated sensor data.
23 . The system of claim 19 , wherein the sensor electronics are configured to transmit sensor data responsive to the request from the display device.
24 . The system of claim 23 , wherein the display device comprises a user interface configured to display graphical information associated with the sensor data.
