Abstract

Implementations of various methods and systems of a network, GPS system, mobile computing devices, servers, forward commodity market servers, grouping software for hubs, transparent open access pricing systems, blockchain audit and safety methods and systems, virtual hub systems, algorithm methods for no arbitrage conditions in a simple easy to use graphical user interface format for mobile or virtual computing over various mediums which are connected via a network to transact and trade transportation seats or capacity units and resulting financial swap payment structures in airline transport, subway transport, train transport, automobile transport, autonomous vehicle transport, taxi transport, space transport, package freight transport, tractor trailer freight transport, cargo freight transport, container freight transport, virtual transport, underground transport, ship or sea transport, public transport, private transport or drone transport on a computer, mobile computer device, audio computer device, virtual reality computer device or mixed reality computing device.

Claims (70)

1. A method, comprising:

tracking origin location data and destination data in real-time from a satellite navigation system of a device of a first user;

receiving real-time updates for the real-time origin location data and the real-time destination location data from the first user over a wireless or wired communication network, wherein the real-time origin location data corresponds to a geographic origin and the real-time destination location data corresponds to a geographic destination;

determining a plurality of virtual hubs based on the updates to the real-time origin location data and the real-time destination location data, wherein the plurality of virtual hubs comprises a first virtual hub based on the real-time origin location data and a second virtual hub based on the real-time destination location data;

storing virtual hub location data corresponding to the first and second virtual hubs on a first database server;

determining a transportation capacity auction for one or more transportation capacity units based on at least the first virtual hub and the second virtual hub, wherein:

the one or more transportation capacity units correspond to one or more seats traveling from the first virtual hub to the second virtual hub; and

the transportation capacity auction corresponds to market depth data, the market depth data comprising data indicating one or more bid prices and one or more offer prices for the one or more transportation capacity units;

storing the transportation capacity auction on a second database server;

transmitting, over the wireless or wired communication network, the market depth data for the transportation capacity auction to the first user;

receiving, over the wireless or wired communication network, transaction input data from the first user based on the market depth data, wherein the transaction input data comprises data corresponding to an acceptance of a respective bid price or a respective offer price provided by a second user for a respective transportation capacity unit; and

generating a forward commodity contract between the first user and the second user for the respective transportation capacity unit based on the transaction input data, comprising determining a financial swap payment for the forward commodity contract based on the market depth data, the transaction input data, or combinations thereof.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein determining the financial swap payment for the forward commodity contract comprises:

determining one or more forward prices for the respective transportation capacity unit based on the market depth data; and

determining the financial swap payment based on the determined one or more forward prices.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein determining the financial swap payment for the forward commodity contract comprises determining the financial swap payment based on a predetermined interest rate and a predetermined time period.

4. The method of claim 1 , further comprising scheduling delivery of the respective transportation capacity unit based on the forward commodity contract, wherein the forward commodity contract comprises one or more conditional attributes to provide substitutability between first and second transportation capacity units of the one or more transportation capacity units.

5. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

receiving transportation mode data from the first user, wherein the transportation mode data indicates a selection by the first user of one or more transportation vehicles for traveling from the first virtual hub to the second virtual hub, wherein the one or more transportation vehicles include the one or more seats, and wherein the one or more transportation vehicles comprise an automobile, an aircraft, an autonomous vehicle, a motorcycle, a bicycle, a boat, a bus, drone, a subway car, a taxicab, a train, a virtual transportation mode, or a delivery vehicle; and

transmitting the market depth data based on the received transportation mode data.

6. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

determining the first virtual hub based on additional origin location data from one or more other users, wherein the first virtual hub corresponds to a location proximate to the geographic origin; and

determining the second virtual hub based on additional destination location data from the one or more other users, wherein the second virtual hub corresponds to a location proximate to the geographic destination.

7. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

receiving constraint data from the first user, wherein the constraint data indicates a selection by the first user of one or more conditions for traveling from the first virtual hub to the second virtual hub, wherein the one or more conditions comprise cheapest route, single mode of transportation, multiple modes of transportation, fastest route, most scenic route, highest rated route, most available route, highest volume of participants for route, most frequent route, service level for route, emissions reduction, highest safety and security level for route, gender of driver, security of driver, and rating of driver; and

transmitting the market depth data for the transportation capacity auction to the first user based on the constraint data, and wherein the transportation capacity auction comprises a forward commodity market auction for the one or more transportation capacity units, and wherein the one or more transportation capacity units comprises one or more commodity contract specifications.

8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the market depth data further comprises data corresponding to:

a bid queue for the one or more bid prices, wherein the one or more bid prices are ranked in the bid queue from highest price to lowest price, and wherein respective bid prices of the same value are ranked by time in the bid queue; and

an offer queue for the one or more offer prices, wherein the one or more offer prices are ranked in the offer queue from lowest price to highest price, and wherein respective offer prices of the same value are ranked by time in the offer queue.

9. The method of claim 1 , further comprising transmitting real-time location data to the first user, wherein the real-time location data corresponds to a geographic location of the second user.

10. The method of claim 1 , further comprising receiving financial data from the first user, wherein the financial data corresponds to payment information for the first user.

11. A method, comprising:

tracking origin location data and destination data in real-time from a satellite navigation system of a device of a first user;

receiving real-time updates for the real-time origin location data and the real-time destination location data from the first user over a wireless or wired communication network, wherein the real-time origin location data corresponds to a geographic origin and the real-time destination location data corresponds to a geographic destination;

determining a plurality of virtual hubs based on the updates to the real-time origin location data and the real-time destination location data, wherein the plurality of virtual hubs comprises a first virtual hub based on the real-time origin location data and a second virtual hub based on the real-time destination location data;

storing virtual hub location data corresponding to the first and second virtual hubs on a first database server;

determining a freight capacity auction for one or more freight capacity units based on at least the first virtual hub and the second virtual hub, wherein:

the one or more freight capacity units correspond to cargo capacity traveling from the first virtual hub to the second virtual hub; and

the freight capacity auction corresponds to market depth data, the market depth data comprising data indicating one or more bid prices and one or more offer prices for the one or more freight capacity units;

storing the freight capacity auction on a second database server;

transmitting, over the wireless or wired communication network, the market depth data for the freight capacity auction to the first user;

receiving, over the wireless or wired communication network, transaction input data from the first user based on the market depth data, wherein the transaction input data comprises data corresponding to an acceptance of a respective bid price or a respective offer price provided by a second user for a respective freight capacity unit; and

generating a forward commodity contract between the first user and the second user for the respective freight capacity unit based on the transaction input data, comprising determining a financial swap payment for the forward commodity contract based on the market depth data, the transaction input data, or combinations thereof.

12. The method of claim 11 , wherein determining the financial swap payment for the forward commodity contract comprises:

determining one or more forward prices for the respective freight capacity unit based on the market depth data; and

determining the financial swap payment based on the determined one or more forward prices.

13. The method of claim 11 , wherein determining the financial swap payment for the forward commodity contract comprises determining the financial swap payment based on a predetermined interest rate and a predetermined time period, and

wherein the freight capacity auction comprises a forward commodity market auction for the one or more freight capacity units, and wherein the one or more freight capacity units comprises one or more commodity contract specifications.

The method of claim 11 , further comprising scheduling delivery of the respective freight capacity unit based on the forward commodity contract, wherein the forward commodity contract comprises one or more conditional attributes to provide substitutability between first and second freight capacity units of the one or more freight capacity units.

15. The method of claim 11 , wherein the market depth data further comprises data corresponding to:

a bid queue for the one or more bid prices, wherein the one or more bid prices are ranked in the bid queue from highest price to lowest price, and wherein respective bid prices of the same value are ranked by time in the bid queue; and

an offer queue for the one or more offer prices, wherein the one or more offer prices are ranked in the offer queue from lowest price to highest price, and wherein respective offer prices of the same value are ranked by time in the offer queue.

16. A computing system, comprising:

one or more processors; and

at least one memory comprising program instructions executable by the one or more processors to:

receive origin location data and destination location data from a first user over a wireless or wired communication network, wherein the origin location data corresponds to a geographic origin and the destination location data corresponds to a geographic destination;

determine a plurality of virtual hubs based on the origin location data and the destination location data, wherein the plurality of virtual hubs comprises a first virtual hub based on the origin location data and a second virtual hub based on the destination location data;

store virtual hub location data corresponding to the first and second virtual hubs on a first database server;

determine a transportation capacity auction for one or more transportation capacity units based on at least the first virtual hub and the second virtual hub, wherein:

the one or more transportation capacity units to providing real-time location updates obtained from a satellite navigation system of the one or more transportation capacity units, wherein the one or more transportation capacity units correspond to one or more seats traveling from the first virtual hub to the second virtual hub; and

the transportation capacity auction corresponds to market depth data that is based on the real-time location updates, the market depth data comprising data indicating one or more real-time bid prices and one or more real-time offer prices for the one or more transportation capacity units;

store the transportation capacity auction on a second database server;

transmit, over the wireless or wired communication network, the market depth data for the transportation capacity auction to the first user;

receive, over the wireless or wired communication network, transaction input data from the first user based on the market depth data, wherein the transaction input data comprises data corresponding to an acceptance of a respective real-time bid price or a respective real-time offer price provided by a second user for a respective transportation capacity unit; and

generate a forward commodity contract between the first user and the second user for the respective transportation capacity unit based on the transaction input data, comprising determine a financial swap payment for the forward commodity contract based on the market depth data, the transaction input data, or combinations thereof.

17. The computing system of claim 16 , wherein the program instructions executable by the one or more processors to determine the financial swap payment for the forward commodity contract further comprise program instructions executable by the one or more processors to:

determine one or more forward prices for the respective transportation capacity unit based on the market depth data; and

determine the financial swap payment based on the determined one or more forward prices.

18. The computing system of claim 16 , wherein the program instructions executable by the one or more processors to determine the financial swap payment for the forward commodity contract further comprise program instructions executable by the one or more processors to determine the financial swap payment based on a predetermined interest rate and a predetermined time period.

19. The computing system of claim 16 , wherein the program instructions executable by the one or more processors further comprise program instructions executable by the one or more processors to schedule delivery of the respective transportation capacity unit based on the forward commodity contract.
