Abstract

Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed An example apparatus to update a spatially adjustable display disclosed herein includes a display size monitor to acquire an indication of a size of the spatially adjustable display, a service image comparator to compare the indication of the size to a size model, and a source image adjuster to invoke visual configuration adjustments to an output image of the spatially adjustable display based on parameters identified in the size model.

Claims (36)

1. An electronic device, comprising:

a housing;

a rollable display screen carried by the housing;

a length marker carried by the rollable display screen, the length marker one of a plurality of length markers carried by the rollable display screen, the plurality of length markers located at equally-spaced positions along the rollable display screen;

a sensor to sense a length of at least one of a rolled or an unrolled portion of the rollable display screen based on the length marker;

memory including executable instructions; and

processor circuitry to execute the instructions to:

display first content on the unrolled portion of the rollable display screen; and

display second content on the unrolled portion of the rollable display screen in response to an input.

2. The electronic device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the rollable display screen includes a touch screen, the input caused by an interaction with the touch screen.

3. The electronic device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the first content includes first icons corresponding to a first priority value, the processor circuitry to display the first icons at a first time.

4. The electronic device as defined in claim 3 , wherein the processor circuitry is to display the second content on the unrolled portion of the rollable display screen by replacing the first icons with second icons at a second time, the second icons corresponding to a second priority value lower than the first priority value.

5. The electronic device as defined in claim 3 , wherein the first priority is indicative of the first icons selected at a frequency that is relatively greater than second icons, the first icons and the second icons corresponding to respective applications executed on the electronic device.

6. The electronic device as defined in claim 1 , further including a shaft, the rollable display screen carried by the shaft.

7. The electronic device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the rollable display screen is to at least one of wind around the shaft or unwind from the shaft.

8. A system comprising:

means for storing a rollable display screen;

means for marking positions of the rollable display screen, the marking position means embedded into the rollable display screen at equally-spaced positions along the rollable display screen;

means for determining an available area of the rollable display screen based on the marking position means;

means for driving the display screen; and

means for causing the driving means to display first content on the available area of the rollable display screen, the driving means to display second content on the available area of the rollable display screen in response to an input.

9. The system as defined in claim 8 , wherein the rollable display screen includes a touch screen, the input caused by an interaction with the touch screen.

10. The system as defined in claim 8 , wherein the first content includes first icons corresponding to a first priority value, the causing means to cause the driving means to display the first icons at a first time.

11. The system as defined in claim 10 , wherein the causing means is to cause the driving means to display the second content on the unrolled portion of the rollable display screen by replacing the first icons with second icons at a second time, the second icons corresponding to a second priority value lower than the first priority value.

12. The system as defined in claim 10 , wherein the first priority is indicative of the first icons selected at a frequency that is relatively greater than second icons, the first icons and the second icons corresponding to respective applications executed on the electronic device.

13. The system as defined in claim 8 , further including a shaft, the rollable display screen carried by the shaft.

14. The system as defined in claim 8 , wherein the rollable display screen is to at least one of wind around the shaft or unwind from the shaft.

15. A storage device comprising instructions that, when executed, cause processor circuitry to, at least:

identify a length of at least one of a rolled or an unrolled portion of a rollable display screen based on a length marker, the length marker one of a plurality of length markers carried by the rollable display screen, the length markers located at equally-spaced positions along the rollable display screen;

display first content on the unrolled portion of the rollable display screen;

display second content on the unrolled portion of the rollable display screen in response to an input.

16. The storage device as defined in claim 15 , wherein the instructions, when executed, cause the processor circuitry to invoke a touch screen to capture the input.

17. The storage device as defined in claim 15 , wherein the instructions, when executed, cause the processor circuitry to display the first content as first icons, the first icons corresponding to a first priority value, the processor circuitry to display the first icons at a first time.

18. The storage device as defined in claim 17 , wherein the instructions, when executed, cause the processor circuitry to display the second content on the unrolled portion of the rollable display screen by replacing the first icons with second icons at a second time, the second icons corresponding to a second priority value lower than the first priority value.

19. The storage device as defined in claim 17 , wherein the instructions, when executed, cause the processor circuitry to identify the first icons as being selected at a frequency that is relatively greater than second icons, the first icons and the second icons corresponding to respective applications executed on the electronic device.

20. The storage device as defined in claim 15 , wherein the instructions, when executed, cause the processor circuitry to detect a length of the unrolled portion of the rollable display screen that is unwound from a shaft.
