Method for conducing concentrated cannabis oil to be stable, emulsifiable and flavorless for use in hot beverages and resulting powderized cannabis oil
A method for producing powderized cannabis oil, and the resulting powderized cannabis oil, in which concentrated cannabis oil is mixed with and absorbed by a modified starch powder, preferably maltodextrin, in a ratio of at least three grams of starch powder for every one-eighth of a gram of cannabis oil is disclosed. Further disclosed are beverages, baked goods and single-serve beverage brewing cartridges utilizing or incorporating the powderized cannabis oil to create human-consumable products that contain an emulsified, tasteless, and odorless dose of cannabis oil.
1. A tablet or capsule consisting essentially of cannabis oil and carboxymethyl cellulose, wherein:
the ratio of the carboxymethyl cellulose to the cannabis oil, by weight, is between three grams and six grams of carboxymethyl cellulose to every one-eighth of a gram of cannabis oil.
2. The tablet or capsule of claim 1 , wherein the ratio of the carboxymethyl cellulose to the cannabis oil, by weight, is one-eighth of a gram of cannabis oil to every three grams of carboxymethyl cellulose.
3. The tablet or capsule of claim 1 , wherein the cannabis oil is evenly absorbed onto and/or within the carboxymethyl cellulose.
4. The tablet or capsule of claim 1 , wherein the cannabis oil contains at least 5 milligrams of tetrahydrocannabinol.
5. The tablet or capsule of claim 1 , wherein the cannabis oil contains between about 5 milligrams and 200 milligrams of tetrahydrocannabinol.
6. The tablet or capsule of claim 1 , wherein the cannabis oil contains 10 milligrams of tetrahydrocannabinol.
7. The tablet or capsule of claim 1 , wherein the cannabis oil contains between about 40 milligrams and 80 milligrams of tetrahydrocannabinol.
8. The tablet or capsule pf claim 1 , wherein the cannabis oil is a carbon dioxide extracted cannabis oil from cannabis.
9. The tablet or capsule of claim 1 , wherein the cannabis oil is an extract from cannabis sativa.
10. The tablet or capsule of claim 1 , wherein the cannabis oil is an extract from cannabis indica.
11. The tablet or capsule of claim 1 , wherein the cannabis oil is decarboxylated.
12. The tablet or capsule of claim 1 , wherein the cannabis oil is from two different strains of cannabis.
13. The tablet or capsule of claim 1 , wherein the cannabis oil is a butane extracted cannabis oil from cannabis.
