Abstract

Embodiments are directed to assessing performances of physical activities. Assessment engines may collect performance content that includes information associated with performances of activities. The assessment engines may employ classifiers to classify the performance content to determine occurrences of features of the performance content and classify assessment content to determine scores that are associated with features included in the performances. The assessment engines may provide correlation values associated with the performances based on historical performance content, assessment content, or scores. The assessment engine may provide a report that includes a localized evaluation of the performances based on the correlation values, performance content, assessment content, and scores. In some cases, the performance content may include videos of the performances.

employing one or more classifiers to perform actions, including:

classifying content that documents one or more performances by a human subject of one or more physical activities based on one or more occurrences of one or more features of the one or more physical activities associated with the one or more performances; and

classifying other content based on one or more scores of the one or more features of the one or more occurrences that are associated with one or more assessments of the one or more performances; and

providing one or more correlation values associated with the one or more performances based on heuristics for one or more of previously collected content, previously collected other content, or previously determined scores; and

providing one or more evaluations of a portion or more of the one or more performances of the one or more physical activities based on one or more of the correlation values, the content, the other content, or the scores.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more engines perform further actions, including:

employing one or more of global positioning system (GPS) signal or WiFi signals to determine a physical location of the one or more performances of the one or more physical activities, wherein the physical location is employed to generate context content for the one or more performances; and

employing the context content to generate additional context content to optimize the one or more assessments of the other content.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more engines perform further actions, including

employing one or more capture agents to locally cache recordings of content for the one or more performances based on one or more of network quality, network availability, latency, policy, rule, or priority.

4. The method of claim 1 , further comprising initially training each classifier based on one or more of examples of the one or more performances, or commentary regarding the one or more performances.

5. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

providing a profile of a subject regarding the one or more evaluations of the one or more performances by the subject, wherein the profile is posted to one or more social networks; and

providing access to review the profile for one or more users of the social network.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more engines perform further actions, including determining a type of one or more of the performances or the physical activities.

7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more engines perform further actions, including:

determining, in real time, one or more recommendations to improve the one or more performances; and

providing, in real time, the one or more recommendations to a subject performing the one or more performances.

8. A system for managing performances of human physical activities over a network, comprising:

a network computer, comprising:

a memory that stores instructions; and

one or more processors that execute the instructions to perform actions, including:

employing one or more engines to perform actions, comprising:

employing one or more classifiers to perform actions, including:

classifying content that documents one or more performances by a human subject of one or more physical activities based on one or more occurrences of one or more features of the one or more physical activities associated with the one or more performances; and

classifying other content based on one or more scores of the one or more features of the one or more occurrences that are associated with one or more assessments of the one or more performances; and

providing one or more correlation values associated with the one or more performances based on heuristics for one or more of previously collected content, previously collected other content, or previously determined scores; and

providing one or more evaluations of a portion or more of the one or more performances of the one or more physical activities based on one or more of the correlation values, the content, the other content, or the scores.

9. The system of claim 8 , wherein the one or more engines perform further actions, including:

employing one or more of global positioning system (GPS) signal or WiFi signals to determine a physical location of the one or more performances of the one or more physical activities, wherein the physical location is employed to generate context content for the one or more performances; and

employing the context content to generate additional context content to optimize the one or more assessments of the other content.

10. The system of claim 8 , wherein the one or more engines perform further actions, including

employing one or more capture agents to locally cache recordings of content for the one or more performances based on one or more of network quality, network availability, latency, policy, rule, or priority.

11. The system of claim 8 , further comprising initially training each classifier based on one or more of examples of the one or more performances, or commentary regarding the one or more performances.

12. The system of claim 8 , further comprising:

providing a profile of a subject regarding the one or more evaluations of the one or more performances by the subject, wherein the profile is posted to one or more social networks; and

providing access to review the profile for one or more users of the social network.

13. The system of claim 8 , wherein the one or more engines perform further actions, including determining a type of one or more of the performances or the physical activities.

14. The system of claim 8 , wherein the one or more engines perform further actions, including:

determining, in real time, one or more recommendations to improve the one or more performances; and

providing, in real time, the one or more recommendations to a subject performing the one or more performances.

15. A processor readable non-transitory storage media that includes instructions for managing performances of human physical activities over a network, wherein execution of the instructions by one or more processors performs actions, comprising:

employing one or more engines to perform actions, including:

employing one or more classifiers to perform actions, including:

classifying content that documents one or more performances by a human subject of one or more physical activities based on one or more occurrences of one or more features of the one or more physical activities associated with the one or more performances; and
